Location was good, breakfast was good. All staff were excellent and always very helpful, from reception to bar and waiting staff. The walk in shower was superb and having a lift down to the rooms was an asset.

There could have been better noise/ acoustic installation. Generally the hotel looked very tired and could do with updating. Beds were uncomfortable and the pillows could be a better quality. Didn’t like having to walk through the middle of the dining area with luggage after booking in to get to rooms.

Great welcome from staff, great room with plenty of hanging space/storage. Amazingly comfortable bed. Ideal location for visiting the area and plenty of parking. The meals were delicious. The pool looked really inviting and my regret is that I didn't have time to take advantage of it.

Unfortunately we had to wait an hour and a half one evening for our meal as the waiter had forgotten to put it through and once they realised they still took a while which spoilt our evening as I can't eat late.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Everyone said hello or good morning to you. The spa area was often busy- but clean and relaxing. The surrounding greenery was lovely. We had a great mini break.

Honestly not much! The beds are very hard, I have a disability and it wasn’t a restful night because of the hard bed unfortunately. If I was being picky the breakfast was a little overpriced for what is offered. The veggie sausages weren’t nice and a bit more choice at breakfast would have been better. The staff were lovely though.

Enjoyed our stay. It was our sons birthday and he was really excited about the swimming pool, we were able to swim on Saturday between 4-6pm but on Sunday on his birthday he couldn't swim as there was an issue with the swimming pool. That was very disappointing as that's why we booked this accommodation, mostly for the swimming pool. There were no other facilities that could be used as he is under 16 years old.

The breakfast was excellent and all of the staff interactions were very good and helpful. The hotel is very well located and the car park was ample. The evening meal we had one night was very good quality and the staff was very attentive.

We worked it out, but it would have been good to have instructions for how the room heater worked which did not appear to be available.

Room was great although let down due to not having convenient plug points (need some next to bed) Facilities were great, good spa and Bistro. Staff were friendly and helpful, bar and evening Bistro was excellent.

Breakfast was mediocre, not much choice, eggs & bacon were cold. Could be much better, don't mind self service buffet but a nice touch when the coffee and toast is brought to table.

Plenty of parking, spacious room, lovely bathroom. Hotel was warm, heating in room fully adjustable. Food in restaurant was good even though the evening menu didn’t change at all during our stay (3 nights).

Our visit was near the end of holiday season and breakfast service and selection was variable.

Staff were brilliant, helpful at all times. The room was spacious and the facilities were great. Breakfast was great and the evening meal was scrumptious. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Although the room was comfortable, spacious and clean it is starting to look a bit dated especially the furniture.

It was an unplanned stay-over due to the bad weather conditions and we were pleasantly surprised to stay here and made use of the facilities in terms of the spa and the pitch and putt golf. We had lunch here on arrival and although the service was a little slow the food was delicious. The rooms were very comfortable with everything we could need for an overnight stay. The hotel staff were smiley and helpful.

There was nothing not to like...

Was peaceful and quiet. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was good and spotless.

We arrived in the dark and it is quite a big site with several buildings including a golf club and a big car park and it wasn't clear where reception was.... when we got closer it was labelled but you couldn't see the id in the dark.
