The view was beautiful, we stayed in room 703 which over looked the Estuary. The bed was a great size and was positioned well, making the most of the view. The pillows were very soft, if you like firm pillows I advice that you either request them or take your own.

There was no privacy between the rooms as the balcony shared a glass panel between the next room, so was a bit awkward when sat outside. There was a dirty dish cloth on top just outside the balcony that had seemingly been there while. There was a biscuit wrapper on the balcony and some cigarette butts in the sand bucket as well, so hadnt been emptied fully. As a non smoker this wasn't very pleasant. I wouldnt order an English cooked breakfast again. The sausages were very tasty but the brown bread was thin supermarket sliced bread and was like cardboard and tasteless. Bacon was over cooked and solid. There was some long blonde hair (I'm brunette) on the bathroom floor that had not been throughly cleared away.

The hotel is in the perfect location & has the bonus of parking. Amazing friendly staff, very efficient. Food was good but a little overpriced. Would certainly return.

The main fuse for the sockets in our bedroom had blown & we had to have a member of staff at 11.20pm come to sort out. Sadly at some point throughout the night it went again needless to say we couldn’t use the hairdryer, kettle or tv & unable to charge our phones! Apology offered but no discount for inconvenience Breakfast was very nice but overpriced.

Location was great and view from the room we had was lovely . Staff were very tentative and would help with any request we had . We ordered room service for breakfast which was nice and turned up quickly however some of our order was missing and we didn’t receive the full order but were not charged . Overall stay was really nice and would recommend !

Parking situation was a little difficult but we managed to find a space for the day close by the hotel and then moved our car to the parking spaces just outside of the hotel that you have to pay for between 8am and 6pm

Staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel was beautiful and in a great location.

Breakfast wasnt very nice at all, bacon was overcooked and dry, eggs were snotty, sausage wasnt particularly nice. Not what I'd expect such a nice hotel to serve, the other guests arrived a day early and said the breakfast wasnt great, I thought they were being fussy but I wish I hadn't of bothered paying for one. £5.50 for 2 glasses of mango juice straight from a Rubicon carton was just slightly overpriced too!

Excellent food in the restaurant. The set menu was of very high standard.The bed was comfortable and there was a great view from our bedroom only about 5 minutes from the pier and high street. Good size bedroom with easy chairs and small table near the window.Car parking available at back of hotel. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

unfortunately the bathroom was quite small with shower only with a screen which meant the floor of the whole bathroom could easily get wet.No coffee machine or fresh milk in the fridge which for the standard /price of the hotel would have been expected. The hair dryer needed to be squeezed to keep it on - quite annoying.

Super helpful staff, going beyond their call of duty, and at all hours. I have never had such great and satisfying service in one day and I am comparing with the best 5 star hotels like (1) Crowne Plaza Zurich, and (2) IHG Hyatt House in Kuala Lumpur Mont Kiara. And such caring services from all across their staff from restaurant room services, front reception - they are an Amazing Heaven at The Seven!! And to wow it all - my Seafood Linguine and Salt & Black Pepper Squid - ahh it's just so superbly cooked and as a room service meal - served in less than 20 mins at their busiest on a Saturday evening, they even provided an ice. bucket for my personal champagne - it is just simply top notch!

Surprisingly there was nothing to dislike about this entire hotel, and it is definitely a luxury boutique hotel which I have already wholeheartedly recommended to my boss and all my colleagues at our corporate law firm at EC2A 2EG.

The friendly nature & welcome from the staff & the quiet location is perfect as within walking distance of the Cliffs Pavilion & the main Southend shopping centre , it has a lovely outside terrace overlooking the sea & also has a free car park. The rooms are well equipped with tea, coffee & a bottle of water, a safe, hairdryer & ironing board, I would definitely recommend this lovely boutique hotel.

It was a bit more expensive than other hotels in the area & the room was quite small but we were only there one night so it didn’t matter, the bed also seemed a bit small for a king size.

1.The location is amazing, slightly pricey compared to others but nonetheless a great place. 2. Extremely cordial staff. 3. Refreshing showers provided 4. Comfortable setting arrangements 5.nice and cosy overall.

1. No Halal food is available in the menus so had to eat out despite breakfast being included in the package. 2. Provide hand wash soaps/liquids in the rooms. 3. TV remote isn't working 4. Iron board isn't working 5. The water bottle provided was old and needed changing.

The staff were excellent - we did have a few problems but they were quickly & efficiently fixed. With courteous & friendly manner. The location was perfect & the room was ready ahead of time as requested.

The electrics failed in the first room we were allocated so we had to be relocated late at night when we returned but we were quickly upgraded to a superior room - with fully working electrics. The hairdryer was missing from that room so again we asked reception to help which they rapidly did.

The room and bathroom were very clean, spacious and well furnished. The location was really good, central for Southend and Westcliff-on-Sea, whilst being fairly quiet as it is at the end of a road. Staff all seemed friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to get one of the few parking spaces in the car park at the rear, as we were visiting off season.

There were a couple of little things which detracted from making the stay perfect. There were no towels in our room and so we had to ring housekeeping when we arrived to get some. The next morning I had to ring again to request a bath mat as the water didn't stay in the walk-in shower. The person I spoke to didn't seem to know what that was so just bought me another towel! Also, the pillows were extremely uncomfortable! The bathroom, whilst being ultra modern, did have a couple of annoying features. There was no soap dish or place to put soap and it was not possible to close the plug. Breakfast was of a good quality but quite expensive as all drinks are charged separately.
