Lovely hotel with a very spacious clean room. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly. The location was great for our visit to Stratford upon Avon.

Very disappointed at having to pay a £5 parking fee when I was checking out. Our room was quite expensive then to have to pay this fee was a bit of a shock.

Beautiful hotel. Our room was lovely. The decor was beautiful.

It would of been nice to have a comfortable lounge area. Somewhere comfortable to have drinks. The bar area is very small and not comfortable at all. The breakfast service was excellent. The waitresses went above and beyond to give a high quality of service. To help them you should be able to help yourself to cereals and fruit etc . You have to ask for cereals which was quite strange. All hotels we have stayed at you help yourself before your choice of main breakfast. The staff as I said were excellent.

Although the room we chose was on the compact size, it had everything you could ask for, including air-conditioning, but excluding a mini fridge. The members of staff were very welcoming, and we had the BEST DINNER of our short tour at the hotel restaurant. We had no issues to park at the hotel. The location is ideal to visit Anne Hathaway’s Cottage.

We informed reception that it was very fortunate that we managed to get the air-conditioning to work because we could not work out how to switch off the underfloor heating and the heated towel rail in the bathroom. Minty at reception said that they would put a note to draw attention to the regulator that we could not find.

Warm welcome on arrival. Spotlessly clean room equipt with everything we needed for our stay. The shower was amazing, with huge towels provided aswell. Very comfortable bed. All areas of hotel were very clean.Extremely helpful staff. Secure parking. Pleasant, short walk to Anne Hathaway's cottage.

Only one slight complaint that breakfast took a long time to be served. But our waiter was very pleasant and attentive throughout.

Breakfast. Was lovely. Cooked to order. Good choices of continental and juices as well as a hot menu. Location was good. About a 20 minute walk into town. We had taxis back which cost about 7. 50. Our room was quite small but the gorgeous bathroom and shower made up for it. The staff were lovely. Polite and courteous. The little toiletries were so nice and also complimentary bottles of water in room that were replaced every day.

The bar is open 24hrs. The downside is that the drinks were so expensive. We came in one night and ordered a double brandy. A double gin with a dash of lemonade and 2 packets of normal sized crisps. The bill was £29.80. Itemised it was £2.40 for each bag of crisps, £11.00 for a double gin and £14.00 for a double brandy.

A really wonderful welcoming hotel. Lovely staff who were always happy to help. The room was super clean, bed really comfortable with every need catered for. Breakfast was very good with wonderful intimate dining surroundings. Spotless tables dressed with flowers and plush table clothes and napkins. Just 1.5 miles to walk to the RSC theatre via the main road, slightly less if using the short cut lanes (not lit at night). Would definitely use again!

There was nothing to dislike. But the added extra of a hot chocolate sachet in the room would be nice please.

Everything was lovely. The room was light and airy, and the bed was the most comfortable we had ever slept in when away from home. Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice available. The staff were friendly, pleasant and professional and nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Nothing at all. It might have been useful though, to have a menu in our room.

The reception staff, from the minute we arrived, to the minute we left were absolutely exceptional. It was my Mother and Fathers' 30 year wedding anniversary, and the staff at the hotel did everything to help - from decorating the breakfast table, to providing a free room upgrade for them. Even the simple things, like remembering my name! The breakfast options were superb, and the quality of the food was excellent. First class service all round - highly recommended.

The car charger (I have a Tesla) that is at the hotel, is not registered on the companies location APP - as such, the only way you can get it to work is if you have a key-fob RFID card for that particular company (which I don't). This needs sorting with the provider as really the charger is pretty useless at the moment.

Everything, the atmosphere, the food, the attention to details. This place is absolutely pristine and every detail has been carefully organised to make you feel special. The service and welcome is second to none, and the oriental touch to a British traditional atmosphere is transporting you to wonderful memories of the best boutique places in Asia, unfortunately for most , gone to modernisation. This is a must stay place to recharge your spirit with wonderful energy.

The fact that I cannot go there as often as I wish to.

Food was limited but excellent, staff went beyond expected levels. Hotel and rooms fresh, clean and well furnished. All hotels should have a Minty, she was a brilliant representative of everything needed at a small hotel.

More comfortable chairs in the restaurant No fridge in room.
