I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful bed and breakfast, and I cannot praise it enough. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. Morris is an excellent host. His genuine care and passion for hosting shine through in every interaction, making me feel truly valued as a guest. The location is very convenient, situated on the main road but offering a comfortable walk into historic Stratford-upon-Avon. It's also very close to the train station, making it easy to get to without a car.. The room I stayed in was cosy but comfortable, exactly what I expected. It wasn't luxury, but it had all the essentials and felt very homely. The attention to detail in the decor added a charming touch, making it a pleasant space to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Each morning, I was treated to a decent selection of breakfast options. The food was nice and provided a good start to the day. The surrounding area is beautiful, with picturesque streets and easy access to local shops and restaurants. In summary, this bed and breakfast exceeded all my expectations. It’s a charming, comfortable, and welcoming place that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Stratford-upon-Avon. Thank you, Morris, for making my visit so special—I look forward to returning in the future!

The breakfast wasn’t the best B&B breakfast I've ever had. Nonetheless, the variety and quality were satisfactory, and it was evident that care was put into the preparation.

We had a great stay at Moonraker, the host was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. We were there for the marathon on Sunday, and he got up especially early to make us breakfast before that started and let us leave the car there most of the day till after we'd finished the race. He gave us information about the Shakespeare birthday celebrations/parade happening on the Saturday. The breakfasts were lovely and its got a delightful atmosphere, very handy location about ten minutes walk from the centre of town but far enough away to be a bit quieter. Car parking and would be handy for the station too. Great value, and a brilliant weekend base. Recommended.

Nothing, everything was great.

Moonraker House is a lovely property and within a 15 minute walk from the centre of Stratford. There is a small lounge/breakfast room which is well laid out and presented. Our room was a good size and had a good amount off storage, a generous amount of hangers in the wardrobe, plenty of sockets and a comfortable seating area with a view onto a small, pebble, oriental inspired garden area. The bed was extremely comfortable. The decoration was English traditional with floral paper, a four poster bed. The shower room was clean, neat and again had good storage and a shower that had a good water flow and plenty of hot water. Tea and coffee making facilities were fine, lovely tea pot and cups and quality biscuits. Loved all the little touches In the property, such as the crockery at breakfast, beautiful. The food for hot breakfasts was fresh, tasty and cooked beautifully. The coffee delicious. The host,Morris, was fantastic.

We found the WiFi a little intermittent during our stay but it didn’t present any problems.

Our host, Morris, was wonderful and there was nothing he couldn't do for us. We were greeted by him on arrival and shown our room. He was polite and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and served fresh, with everything available. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a little tight in places but that's more to do with the fact that we are both very tall. It was great value for money and in an ideal location to walk into the centre of Stratford (it took us around 10-15 mins).

This is a great place to stay in Stratford-upon-Avon. It's walking distance from the station (10-15 minutes) and from the town centre and all the sights (15-20 minutes). Morris, the host was very kind and helpful. He'll keep your luggage if you reach early or leave late after checkout. I was in a single room which was very comfortable with all the amenities and the bathroom was sparkling clean. The breakfast was great with lots of options.

The bathroom attached to the single room was a little small but it was sparkling clean so it worked.

Morris our host was great very hospitable he couldn't do enough not just for ourselves but also for the other guests also. The breakfast, cereal, cooked or both, tea, coffee, orange juice was very nice and very good value. If we visit Stratford Upon Avon again in the future wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Moonraker again. Thanks Morris for us you are a top Host in every way.

Nothing really as everything that we needed was available and supplied if needed.

This was our first visit to Stratford and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Morris at the Moonraker house. I booked a small double as that was all that was available, but it was perfectly fine for a 2 night stay. The room was at the back and we couldn't hear any noise at all. The bed was comfortable with excellent quality bed linen and pillows. There was a flat screen tv, a hairdryer and tea/coffee/water and biscuits supplied in the room. The shower had plenty of pressure, the water was hot and toiletries were supplied. The towels were sparkling white and fluffy. There was a choice of food for breakfast which was freshly cooked, tasty and hot. The on site parking is a bonus and we were able to leave our car until the afternoon on check out day.

There isn't much in the immediate vicinity but a 10/15 m walk takes you into the middle of town. It's not a place to stay for the less mobile

Morris, the owner, takes great pride in his customer service. He is very keen to ensure his guests have local information access and explains how to get from A to B The breakfast was superb. The location is a short walk into town. Advise on local attractions with plenty of information booklets available One thing to note it only has parking for about 4 cars All in all, it's a perfect short break in Stratford

Nothing not to like

Very friendly host who greeted me by name every time and remembered details such as timings, my breakfast order, etc. Check in, breakfast and check out were all very quick and smooth. Lovely room with a very comfortable bed - I really appreciated having a small double even though it was a single room! Excellent location close to the train station and only a short walk into town.

Not a complaint, but something to be aware of: the bathroom is very small - not really space to get dried and dressed after a shower without opening the door, and you need to be a bit careful when using the loo due to the position of the sink, but I would definitely rather have a small en-suite than a shared bathroom down the hall!

A fantastic B+B with a fantastic host Maurice who couldn't do enough to make sure you were comfortable. He is warm, friendly and courteous and nothing is too much trouble. I had a comfortable single room with (tiny) ensuite which had everything I needed for a couple of nights and breakfast was served and ready when I wanted it. He also let me stay a little over the (rather early) checkout time when I was still feeling a little tender from the night before. It's a great place to stay close to town and the train station. There's a large Morrisons next door for any supplies you need to, I'd stay here again and give money to this local business.

I think the room is in need of some redecoration as there was wallpaper peeling off and just looked a little tired. But this is really nitpicking. The road is a bit noisy but the traffic calms down before bedtime and it's double glazed so it wasn't an issue. I would have liked a bit more on my plate for breakfast, some baked beans are always welcome... but it was delicious.
