This is a truly beautiful building with very friendly and helpful staff. It’s also rich with culture as there are often film crews carrying out duties for their latest dramas. I highly recommend at least a weekend here as it’s a great location with great shops, cafes, restaurants nearby and the boulevards full of trees meeting in the middle are spectacular. Also, very near the airport and not too far from Montevideo city.

I’ve stayed in several rooms. I much prefer the garden room.

The hotel is like a Manor, very impressive as you walk in the front door which its classic heritage style, the property was well kept and maintained.

As its an old house, we didn't realise until it was too late that we had no electricity in the bathroom, so we couldn't use the spa, the hairdryer etc, even charge our phones. A real shame as that's why the rating we give us below 10!

Very nice swimming pool and garden. Room was big and clean. Area is probably best of Montevideo with many restaurants and the beach just few meter away

Request to leave the kitchen in the room clean (not decently clean, but clean) to avoid extra charge. Water cooker was old and rusty.

Everithing was perfect. Just the check out was long beacuse they make a mistake and charge the price in dolars not in pesos and the return etc take a long time. The roomwas very good but the bethroom had a shower problem with the water that go out of the shower and the shower dor was very tight. The people who made the garden start at 7:30 am to made it with a lot of noise infront of the room one day, but it was part of a howse expiriense. At the end everithing was good considering the priece, the great GREAT location for relax and green area, and the beautiful house, the people service was warm too. I,ll return there if I have the oportunity again in Uruguay. Very unique porperty. It was a grear sorpirse !!!

I enjoyed the ambiance of the house. The pool was quiet and comfortable. The room was very large with an awesome bathroom. The staff were very nice and attentive.

The hotel does not have a fitness room/center. The breakfast was adequate but not on par with other hotels at a similar price point.

The Building itself and the zone was awesome. Proximity to shopping and plage was perfect. The breakfast was more than correct.

The cleanningless under spectations, there were no telephone with reception desk and there was no heat in the bathroom.

Everything. But I would highlight the following 3: - attention from Gaby and Roberto - the beautiful house. Is an architectural jewel - the neighborhood of carrasco which is beautiful and has a lot of restaurants and cafes that are really good.

Very convenient and stylish option if you arrive late at Montevideo Airport. Good alternative to a brand hotel and walking distance to restaurants

Modest signage due to residential location so difficult to find in the dark

The owner Roberto pays attention to every single detail, also the staff is careful about customer service and always ready to provide valuable support

It is a great spot and a beautiful building. staff are helpful and the place is great value for money. It is out side the old city but a much better area to stay in.
