The location was one of the nicest in all of Montevideo. Close to the beach, surrounded by convenient stores and delicious restaurants. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I've ever used. If I could have fit them in my luggage, I was tempted to take them home! The shower was incredible and everything was very clean. The front desk workers were incredibly polite and sharp, and they spoke English which made my wife very happy, since she does not speak Spanish (yet).

The breakfast experience was confusing. Without pictures or the ability to see what you're ordering, you're not sure what you will get. When I ordered fiambre y queso (ham and cheese) I thought I was ordering a sandwich, but I got a few slices of each. Everything tasted good, but the experience could be improved.

The hotel is excellent! Very well located, 100 meters from Poncitos beach, with restaurants, shops, currency exchange, and markets within walking distance. The room is very big, comfortable. Excellent bathroom with new towels and bedding. Breakfast is amazing, lots of variety. The staff is very polite. We stayed twice at this hotel on our trip to Uruguay, and we will certainly stay again in the next one.

The fridge in the room didn't work well, it didn't cool at all. One of the beds had a very old mattress that slumped when lying down, needs to be replaced with a new mattress.

Lovely spacious room with solid and comfortable furnishings. Large bathroom. Varied breakfast choices with option of eggs cooked to order. Exercise room and rooftop hot tub were clean and efficiently staged. Lovely view from roof top. Everything was well maintained

Exercise equipment needs more choices for the handles on weight system. River view is an overstatement as the view is mostly of the square.

The staff at the front office and breakfast area were very professional and top notch and I enjoyed talking and interacting with them. I’ve told many of my friends who enjoy to travel the Soro Montevideo is wonderful

The room was well designed, with good space even disabled friendly. The lift was big and we could all go at once with all our luggage in it. We did not have breakfast so can not comment on that. Location very good walking distance to the sea. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We did not have a great view. No on site parking.

It’s a great location across the street from the beach. the room was large enough and the bed was very comfortable, bedding felt brand new. shower was amazing. I liked the ironing board/iron in the room, I didn’t have to call down to have one sent up for a change. I would stay here again and would recommend it.

the gym/ spa area. pretty much neglected and unusable.

Location was excellent. The beds and pillows were excellent. Breakfast is really good, maybe a greater variety of fruits would be desirable.

about breakfast: I was sure that I paid the breakfast at reservation but, at check out, they changed it. Could you check for me if I really didn't paid it at reservation?

The breakfast was good, but it's inconvenient that a hostess or a waiter is watching you when you type food on the buffet. You also need to ask for boiling water. Not all food is freely available. It's not very comfortable that you need to communicate with the waiter, it seems that you are being controlled.

location 10 minute walk from beach and centrally located in Pocitos. large room , great bed and bathroom. very quiet. staff at desk great

breakfast was mediocre . coffee bad. only good was fresh fruit and juices . they had a full kitchen staff. why not free cooked eggs and espresso coffees.

We had a nice stay at Soro Hotel. loved the location near the beach in Pocitos. It’s a peaceful neighborhood with beautiful buildings and nice restaurants a short drive from the city centre. The staff was so nice and gave genuinely good recommendations. The room also had a nice view of the square and the beach.
