Hotel is very welcoming and pet friendly. Plenty of parking and nice large green area to walk our dog! All the staff we interacted with were pleasant. The room is spacious, bed is comfy. Plenty of pillows. Room has microwave, mini fridge and small coffee maker. The bathroom is spacious too. Full refillable bottle with hand soap, body lotion, gel douche, shampoo and conditionner. All the products are sulfate and preservative free! Located close by restaurants, CVS and many other stores. Last but not least the breakfast is amazing! Breakfast room is vibrant with a red and green decor. Comfortable seating. There is something for everyone, waffle, bread, muffin, eggs, bacon, cereal, fruit, coffee, juices.....
The fitness room is a bit small but The hôtel was not busy so it was fine! The swimming pool is small too! The pool water was dirty and cloudy. I asked when the pool was being cleaned. I was told daily. The chemicals are off for the pool to be that cloudy. It was disappointing, I like using the pool whenever I travel!

The Maintenance man was very kind and helpful. However, the reason we had to meet him was because we had no AC in our room on a hall with no air. We finally got a new room with great AC. The breakfast was very nice! The pool was okay also.
The lack of AC in our room. The desk person making me feel like I was bothering her asking about the AC. Also, I don’t like the $50 incidental fee! Ridiculous!

My husband and I were in Jacksonville, AL. for the McMillian family reunion.The Hampton Inn , Jacksonville AL was the hotel selected by the reunion committee as the hotel to stay at because it is 12 miles from the family reunion venue.
There was an issue with our TV the first night of our stay. Maintenance fixed the issue the next day. The water pressure was very low in the bathroom faucet and shower all 4 nights we were at the hotel. The conceige indicated a valve was being replaced this week to fix that issue.

We were very impressed with the ladies who were providing breakfast. They were constantly replenishing the selection and making sure that the seating area was clean - wiping down tables, sweeping the floor, etc.. (there were many families with young children ). Additionally, another person washed the floor of one of the elevators where someone had tracked red clay off cleats or sneakers. Their attention to detail was commendable.

The front desk attendant was wonderful, as was the amazing breakfast buffett. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The bathroom was roomy, with a great shower!
Communication prior to check-in was impossible. I sent many messages through Booking and none were answered by the hotel. When we checked in, we were told they got no messages. We needed a rollaway bed for my daughter who ended up sleeping on the floor. When I never got a message reply, I tried to call, numerous times, and the line was always busy, no voicemail option, just busy. EVERY TIME I CALLED.

The room was clean and comfortable.
The heating unit blew cold air for 10 minutes before it turned to heat. I booked the room through Booking.com. I booked the room based on my needs and the price quoted. The next morning I received an email detailing the total charges of the room, which showed a $40.00 increase from what I was initially quoted. Upon checkout, I asked the lady at the service counter why the room charge was higher, and she said they have no control over what Booking.com quotes vs. the amount they charge. She said I would have to contact Booking.com to dispute it. She was of no further help. I attempted to contact both Booking.com and Hampton Inn and have not been contacted by either business. If the hotel isn't going to honor the quote from Booking.com, why use Booking.com to reserve a room?

Location, cleanliness, well-equipped, fresh, pretty and tidy grounds, updated, and safe.
Beds were a little bit creaky/noisy - I think it was the frames - but comfy!

The hotel is located close to where we are house hunting and very convenient. Everyone is friendly and the breakfast is great.
I liked everything so far staying there.
