The man working the lobby in the afternoon was the most knowledgeable hotel attendant I've ever met (And I've met quite a lot) He made sure to tell me all the information about the hotel (where the room was, what was available for breakfast, the wifi password, where to get ice, etc.) The rooms were spacious, with a desk chair and arm chair. There was also a mini fridge and a microwave. The bathroom was nice, and clean. The pillows were very comfortable! The beds were also comfortable. The breakfast far exceeded what I expected from such a small motel, there was waffles, muffins, yogurt, coffee, and juices. The parking lot was well lit.

I didn't like how the parking lot was laid out, it seemed like there weren't enough parking spaces. When we got back to our room in the evening, all the spaces near our room were taken by other guests, and while I know this is a common occurrence it just seemed like the parking lot was pretty small.

I was going to travel through Alabama, on my drive to Athens, GA. I noticed an Econo Lodge in Oxford, AL had a very reasonable price. Afterwards, I read so many reviews rating them highly. I thought I’d take a chance. Let me tell you this… this hotel in small city Oxford is a hidden traveler’s dream. No, it’s not the Waldorf Astoria, because it’s not meant to be. What you WILL find is top notch customer service, a spotlessly clean modern room, huge tv, WiFi, & it’s all around the corner from several restaurants, bars & shopping. This is a hidden jewel! They even have an EV charger, free to use! Now, that’s spot on!

Not one single item! The Econo in Oxford truly exceeded my expectations!

It was very clean. Staff was friendly. The only noise was from the road. I liked the convenience of being able to park right outside my room. I think it's pet friendly too, which I did not know at the time of booking and will be good to keep in mind for later. I believe I read at the front desk that the pet fee is $20 a night.

The parking lot is very bright (good for safety) and the curtains did not block the light out very well at night (not good for sleeping purposes.) The bed was not the most comfortable and breakfast was extremely limited. They only had yogurt, blueberry muffins, and some kind of breakfast sandwich. There was no fruit or cereal or anything else offered.

Floors need cleaning very badly. I noticed it last time we stayed but I'm not sure if I reported it. The dark vinyl flooring hides the dirt so housekeepers probably don't realize how dirty they are. I told the office staff upon leaving about that problem so hopefully they're addressing it. Luckily I brought flip flops so I could slip them on and off during the night trips to the bathroom!

The room was quiet. We got a call after we booked asking if we wanted to go with King vs two fulls for no upcharge so we did. We also discovered after we arrived that have a free Tesla charger! BONUS!

The vinyl flooring was a bit uneven and buckled when we walked on it. Everything was very clean so we ignored it and enjoyed the quiet room to get some needed rest.

Breakfast was good but not a large selection… small yogurts, cereal, waffles, muffins, coffee, juice. Room was clean but could use some painting. Location was safe. The young man. White make, that checked me in was outstanding. He was friendly and very helpful.

Staff is always professional and friendly. The rooms are always very very clean and smell clean as well. We needed extra towels and they brought them right away. We didn't have to wait.

Breakfast could be better. Maybe a small breakfast buffet. Not just cereal and coffee.

The location was fine having a ton of stuff near by. The complementary breakfast was okay at best, but was some nice selections. The pool could of had better up keep but it was still a nice little pool to swim and relax at. People mostly kept to themselves as my friends and me were a bit loud on nights watching TV and joking around so either the sound proofing in the rooms were top notch or we just didn't upset them enough.

Staff seemed uninterested in talking most of the time, was a tad bit of a hassle to get certain things. Like rags and towles. Bad timing on my part with the road crew repaving the road next to the hotel so there was construction sounds on some days when they got closer to the hotel room.

Best hotel in town. Staff very friendly. The bed is remarkably comfortable. Even the Hilton had a sagging bed - not this hotel! The bathtub worked and it was clean and comfortable. Heater worked just fine. It was quiet and I slept great.

More variety in breakfast might be nice? More low-carb options, preferably.

Usually stay here when visiting my daughter , grandchildren and sister. Easy access back to interstate and lots of local businesses.

The pillows need done work. Had 4 pillows and only squalled maybe one of mine at home. No fluff
