Stayed one night to visit a friend at University of Alabama. Really great spot for the price! Front desk staff was sharp and helpful, parking lot is brightly lit, room was small, but clean and everything worked well. Comfortable soft bed and pillows. Close to campus.

Somewhat strong carpet freshener / room spray smell in the hotel room. Seemed to clear up after running the AC for a few minutes. Worth considering if you're sensitive to smells like I am. :) Otherwise, a great stay!

We loved the location! We were going to the game and was right there at University mall to catch the bus! Room was clean and comfortable.

I did not like the fact that the room did not have a mini fridge. I havent stayed in a hotel without an in room mini fridge in forever. Very inconvenient. And considering i paid a little over 200.00 for one night the room should definitely had a mini fridge.

I really enjoy Microtel hotels. They're small and cozy, and from the ones I've stayed in, clean. The bed was the best part. The bed was better than the $400 a night hotel I've stayed in! It also had a really nice, large mini fridge. Didn't use it, but I thought that was nifty.

The hand full of issues are only nit picky things. We ended up in a handicap room, so the I wasn't the biggest fan of the shower. The AC made a strange noise, my husband couldn't even hear it, the fan did not make the noise so that was good. There was absolutely no cord management behind the TV. Those are the only negatives

I didn’t like that I called to inform the hotel that my flight was canceled, but I would be arriving the next day. The person who I spoke to canceled my room. What I did like is that they rushed to fix everything for us so that we wouldn’t have any issues when we arrived. They were very nice and apologetic and made the experience a positive one.

It was located in a convenient location and the beds were comfortable to sleep in. The staff that was working the desk were very friendly and helpful. It looks like the room had recently gotten repainted. I'm glad that I got the room at the rate that I did off from booking.com because it definitely would not have been worth twice the price as it was listed on the hotel website.

The room wasn't as clean as it should have been, there were pieces of candy on the floor when we got there that didn't come from us. Also, the latch/handle mechanism for the bathroom door was coming apart when we got there but I think that we fixed that.

I LIKED THE FACT THE PROPERTY WAS WELL KEPT CONSIDERING HOW BAD THE OTHER MICROTEL LOCATIONS HAS LET THEMSELVES GO

THE LONG CHECK IN AFTER BEING TOLD OF A SECURITY DEPOSIT BECAUSE I WAS CONSIDERED A LOCAL AND AFTER RECEIVING THE $100 DEPOSIT ALSO ASKED FOR MY CREDIT CARD TO BE ON FILE WHICH WAS A BIT MUCH CONSIDERING THE ROOM WAS ONLY$63.00 SEEMED AS IF IT WAS ONLY DONE BECAUSE OF MY RACE.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was quite comfortable and the bed was great after a long road trip. Overall great stay, will very likely be back.

The walls are a little thin, we could hear a bit of what was going on in the halls. Breakfast was a little lackluster but it was free so I can't really complain.

The room was great, we had a couch, a little bar, a fridge, a bit of a kitchen area, and a more separate sleeping area. We really liked the room for the price, great deal. It was clean as well. Breakfast turned out to be complimentary. Location is great, next to a mall and close to the university of alabama.

Breakfast, it is complimentary, so I don't feel like I can really complain about it, but it was very limited, just juice, coffee, and little muffins.

The staff was great! The room as comfortable and clean. The location to the college was nice. And really the cost was reasonable.

Very little for breakfast, but coffee 24 hours a day was nice. No refrigerator in room which came as a huge surprise since most places do now, and there is room for one. Not enough parking spaces, and spaces way too narrow. Other guests made more noise than necessary at night.

Everything was clean. The location felt safe. The staff was friendly and helped me quickly.

Very minor things: The room was a little smaller than I expected which was fine since it was just me. The shower was a little confusing to operate but the lady at the front desk helped me.
