the location cannot be beat and the staff was super helpful

we booked the only room that could accommodate 5 people - the king suite - which just had a king bed and a pull out sofa. we requested a roll away cot. the mattresses on the pull out and cot were so thin you could feel the metal parts of the frame and it was extremely uncomfortable. After a couple of sleepless nights we asked for a better solution and the gave up several mattress covers for both and it made a huge difference. We wished we had something sooner. I would suggest upgrading those mattresses. otherwise everything was top notch.

Loved the hotel and the location!! The king room was very spacious and clean. Grayson was very welcoming and friendly. The smell from the restaurant greeted you at the entrance. So I liked everything about the hotel.

Only thing I didn't like. Is how the bathroom shower is placed and how you will get wet. Just from turning the shower on. But I knew what to expect from reading the reviews and seeing. That's what everyone main complaint was about lol the placement of the shower head

LOCATION was perfect during orientation. Staff was amazing. Price was one of the better options in town, and you couldn’t beat the location. Will definitely stay here again.

It stated breakfast was included on the website, but it was not. That is fine because it forced us to try local restaurants which was fun- so no complaining here. Just maybe if someone was counting on breakfast , that would stink for them

The hotel is in an excellent location!! Everything on campus was within walking distance of the hotel. The student staff was incredibly friendly, engaging and helpful! Wait staff and bartenders at the restaurant in the hotel were very friendly as well. Prices at the restaurant were reasonable, and it was nice to have a restaurant on site. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.

I thought the room rate was a bit high. Pool needed cleaned and water was rather murky. They are also quite strict about the check in time, no early check ins. But baggage could be stored in a back room until rooms were ready.

The location was outstanding! The hotel bar was great as well! Room had good amenities, and the staff was very cordial and friendly. The public facilities were great, especially as a huge Bama fan. All in all it was a great stay!

The room bathroom could use updating, but was still fine. It wasn’t bad, but seems to have room for improvement. Definitely not a big knock, and I will surely be staying at this hotel again!

I have been staying here for years, even before I had children attending the University of Alabama. I love this hotel! The staff is wonderful, the location is the best, and the rooms are always clean and spacious.

There really isn't anything that I can complain about. Like I said, having stayed here for many years, I have NEVER had an issue or a complaint.

The location of this hotel is perfect, right on campus. The facility is beautiful and very well-kept. The staff was accommodating and cheerful. We visited the breakfast buffet which offered a good variety.

The price was a bit high compared to other hotels in the area but Capstone has a higher level of prestige so we were willing to pay the difference.

We enjoyed being on campus.

The heat wouldn't turn on. It was colder than normal outside and we were a bit cool inside, but since we had lived in Alaska for many years, we didn't mind it. When we reported it the next morning, the cost of our room was refunded! We did like the refund, that was very nice of them.

Very nice central location for the business at hand that I had come for. Quiet clean and comfortable overall with a very friendly staff.

There seem to be a little disconnect between the restaurant and the front desk and rest of the staff. We were there and what should have been ample time to use the restaurant as it was advertised to close at 10:00. But upon arrival around 9:20 we were told that no one was sure if it was still open because they had been very busy and then no one in the restaurant was particularly welcoming. We chose to eat elsewhere unfortunately. Other than that experience with the hotel was excellent and breakfast was good the next morning.

Incredibly friendly staff. From the front desk to the maintenance men we met in the hallway, everyone was very approachable and kind. The hotel is close to everything and easy to get to. The AC works well, especially on such a hot day. The lighting in the bathroom is excellent for us women and there is vent in the bathroom.

The shower had some hair in it and the mattresses seemed to need replacing (kind of slanted and a little bit lumpy).
