Traveled with my family and found the hotel to be very clean, newly remodeled giving it not only a fresh new look but the quality of the decorations and theme are wonderful. The rooms are spacious, perfectly appointed with a mid sized fridge, a kerig coffee machine with Starbucks. The room included a box of complimentary various quality snacks. The parking area is also clean, well lit, secured and has a beautiful colorful mural. This place is really amazing and the photos are exactly what the site looks like. The Anaheim public transportation stop to get to Disneyland is right in from the hotel! I will stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.

I had an amazing stay at California Inn in Anaheim and highly recommend it! From the start, the staff made us feel right at home, going above and beyond by arranging transportation for us to Anaheim Plaza. Their dedication to guest satisfaction is outstanding. The staff is like the hotel’s unofficial fairy godparents. Whether offering snacks or helping with transportation, their friendly nature and helpfulness truly enhanced our stay. They’re always there to make everything easier and brighter! The room was spacious, clean, and stocked with complimentary snacks and drinks. The location is perfect—just two bus stops from Disneyland, with a bus stop right outside. There’s also a convenience store next door and great food delivery options. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly, convenient place near Disneyland, California Inn is a fantastic choice. Great service from the staff and an overall wonderful experience. Five stars!

This place was fantastic! We were visiting Disneyland and were looking for something affordable yet nice and comfortable for the family, and this spot was perfect. The rooms were immaculate, updated, and modern. The shower felt luxurious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable—perfect for a good night's rest after a long day at the parks. We also appreciated the little touches, like the complimentary snacks, water, and coffee, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The mugs provided were so cute, and we ended up taking a couple home as souvenirs! The kids loved the outdoor games, and the little patio table was great for enjoying a morning coffee or evening snack. The outdoor lights in the common areas were stunning—I'm not sure if they were just for the season since we visited in November, but they definitely added a magical touch to the atmosphere. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. Kevin, the front desk attendant, was amazing! He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. He was so accommodating and really made us feel welcome. The location was also a huge plus—just a 5-minute drive from Disneyland, which made it super easy to get to and from the park. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our trip. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable place to stay near Disneyland. We'll definitely be back!

Mike, the general manager, was very friendly and helpful with our room accommodations. The location was very close to Disneyland. You can watch the fireworks at night .

Water pressure could have been better.

The rooms are spacious and well laid out. The front desk guy was very helpful and friendly. There are free snacks, chocolate & coffee in the room - which is a lovely touch. Parking spaces were good. It’s beside a convenience store and a pizza place - which was very handy. There’s a bus stop out front that takes you directly to Disneyland - it’s only 2 dollars per person and it is about a 5 minute bus ride. I felt safe in this place. It was mainly full of families and kids all heading to Disneyland.

I absolutely loved staying here at the California Inn! The location was perfect for us because it was central to the spots we were hanging out at (Disneyland, downtown Anaheim, Gardenwalk). The room was themed after The Little Mermaid which was a cute and fun touch that we were not expecting. The room also was furnished nicely and had a nice TV with all of the streaming services accessible. The room also had a Keurig with Starbucks coffee pods that were provided and water bottles. The bathroom was nice and clean as well and had plenty of towels available. Also, the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept on! Last but most important, we received the BEST service from Mike, one of the managers. He was so helpful and kind throughout our stay and even recommended some cool new restaurants/bars for us to try. He really put in the extra effort for us to feel comfortable and I really appreciated his amazing service. We definitely will be coming back!

The newly renovated property was gorgeous! I loved all the modern and artistic touches! As a Disney fan I thought the lightly themed rooms were fantastic! I appreciated the snacks in lieu of breakfast and the room was clean and spacey! Mike was a fantastic host and gave us plenty of great information and made us feel very comfortable! The tech touches in the room were also Greatly appreciated!

There were some dirt on the walls ( maybe just left over from new construction) I would have really appreciated a chair or small table in the room to have done my makeup or eat a snack.

First impression of this adorable little Inn was, “Wow!” This is the most perfect little hidden gem just a short 5 minute bus/shuttle ride to & from the Disney parks. I couldn’t believe we had found such a sweet & thoughtfully designed place that fit our family’s budget. Our 10 year old daughter thought we were staying in a fancy hotel, that is how aesthetically pleasing and modern this little motel was! We will definitely return to this location next time we visit the Disney parks. The California Inn was exactly what our family needed in a place to rest our heads after a long day at the parks. The rooms were simple but it was in the small touches and beautiful design that made our stay extra nice! Upon arrival, the general manager, Mike greeted us with a warm welcome making us feel right at home. He then showed us to our room & made sure we settled in alright. The room looked exactly how it is shown on their website. No surprises or misinformation when it comes to how their rooms look. It really is THAT CUTE! The beds were unbelievably comfortable (I’m looking into getting one just like it for our home!) I slept better than I had in weeks! The room came with Starbucks Keurig coffee, creamer & sugar, complimentary snacks & drinks, fridge, tv with all the streaming apps, beautiful bathroom area with an awesome shower, makeup removing towels, and a small freestanding hanger area for luggage or clothing. Outside on the patio/porch areas were outdoor games like jenga, connect four, corn hole and comfortable sitting areas to enjoy morning coffee or the evening air. We were on & off the property going to and from the parks, we always felt so well taken care of & looked after by the staff. They always had a genuine smile and a warm greeting whenever they saw us. Thank you to The California Inn staff for creating such a wonderful experience for our little family!

My only two negative reviews about this place was how thin the walls were and how easily you could hear your neighbors moving around, showering, watching Tv… but that is to be expected at a smaller motel/inn anyways so it really didn’t bother me too much. I was able to ignore and still fall asleep, light sleepers might want to consider ear plugs. The other issue was how the water in Anaheim just stinks! This happened to us at another nearby hotel we stayed at years ago, I think it’s something about the city water… it smells pretty strong like rotten eggs here & there.but I don’t think it’s specifically this motel, I think it’s a city water issue? Other than that, no complaints really!

The property is clean and has a great aesthetic! The front desk was knowledgeable, personable and attentive! This is our second stay and it held up! The TVs are set up for all your favorite streaming services, they provide kerig coffee in each room and complimentary snacks and drinks! This is a fantastic place to stay and is less than a 3 min drive to Disneyland!

The beds were a little hard and I do wish there was a small table to eat or do makeup with.

I usually stay at a different property, but that property had bumped its prices by $100 per night so I went looking elsewhere. I found this hotel online. This property is a cute motel style. It is EXTREMELY clear that they spent a ton of money fixing it up as it is brand new inside all of the rooms! The floors are beautiful, beds are very comfy, bathrooms are gorgeous with cool tile-work and the showers are amazing!!! It is an incredible value, with free bottled water replaced daily inside your rooms and snacks to pack in your bag for Disney or for after a long day. Lots of details that the large hotels don’t bother with. It is clear the owners/operators of this motel take pride in it and listen closely to feedback. Very convenient bus stop at the hotel and drops right at Disneyland, but we Ubered over in the morning for about $6.00 which was a great deal. Super close.
