There was a nice variety of items in the refrigerator for us to prepare a continental breakfast or to cook up some eggs. The full kitchen was much appreciated. We also really enjoyed visiting the tasting room onsite.

The common living room/ dining area and kitchen were in the center of the apartment with bedrooms opening to it from either side. Since we were the only ones there, it worked fine. If the other bedroom had been rented out, it could have been a little awkward sharing that central space. It would work great for a family or two couples traveling together.

I loved that we had the common space between the two rented rooms all to ourselves since we were the only occupants. That made everything much nicer. We also lucked out to check in during tasting room hours and enjoyed that before checking in. After the tasting room closed, we enjoyed the peace and quiet in the common room with the bottle of wine we purchased! The space is tastefully decorated in a Tuscan decor. The whole place and grounds did look and feel like being in Tuscany!

Self serve breakfast was only so so. For that kinda of money and self serve, some fresh local bakery goods would have been better, but I realize it is spotty bookings during the year and often days between occupants. Nicer pillows would be helpful.

My daughter and I were very impressed with the kitchen and the breakfast goodies. We love eggs in the morning, so it was a nice surprise to see plenty of eggs available. :-) I enjoyed sitting out on the patio. And the view of the vineyard across the street was so lovely. The customer service was excellent. I really appreciated being able to communicate with Deneise via text messages. She gave us a great recommendation for dinner. We will definitely stay again!

The lack of towel racks in the bathroom was the only negative. Oh, and if it's possible to remove the "auto light" in bathroom and toilet, that would be great. While taking a bath, it's much nicer to have dim light and not have it interrupted by the auto/movement light.

The bed was extremely comfortable! having the option to cook there was also very nice, they have a full kitchen with utensils available for guests. They made a bunch of snacks available to us and were also available over the phone to answer any questions we had. Overall, the service was really good. Deniese helped us answering questions and Helena walked us through our wine tasting, very good service from both!

I thought the main house was built too close to the road. I expected the construction to be more secluded and closer to the vines. also, the suite can be accessed directly from the tasting room where people go to taste the wine, so not the most private. Inside the suite there were absolutely no privacy issues, but I think the patio outside was not private enough to be considered a private patio.

Good location, hospitable and knowledgeable staff,, clean, perk of complimentary wine tasting,snacks, good coffee, beautiful property and room, comfortable bed/linens/bathrobes...private and quiet bed/bath, great communication with host

Cold tile floors, we couldn't use the fire place, cheap toilet paper, front area is not private from road or anyone walking by...but we enjoyed the robes to go out & make coffee!

Peaceful, comfortable getaway in the hills. The room/bathroom were spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the shared living/outdoor spaces were super convenient. had coffee outside on the terrace in the morning, watched the incredible stars at night. Denise gave us clear and easy check-in instructions. Helena was kind and gracious in the tasting room, with excellent wine! picked up dinner at the local Indian restaurant, which was delicious! and went on a nice hike around the Highland Springs recreation area.

location is great for relaxing/retreating, but have to drive to grab any food or visit other locations around, not a biggie, but just to note.

Outside of town. We had the whole place to ourselves. Very nice kitchen with everything you could need in it. Nice patio to sit and sip wine in the evening.

No regular coffee! Only decaf and vanilla flavored for breakfast. I'm sure this was an oversight. The winery was not open so we couldn't do the complementary wine tasting it said we would get.

Immaculate property with a nice patio. We enjoyed the complimentary tasting and having access to some breakfast items.

Bed could’ve been a bit bigger and room is quite small (but bathroom is huge and very nice).

The ice machine in the fridge didn't work unfortunately, quite sure this was an oversite. As the attention to detail was excellent

The facility was beautiful. Kitchen large and well stocked. Access to a real stove, refrigerator, counter space was a bonus. Room was perfectly comfortable. Great art on the walls, lovely patio with dining table outside. Shared dining, living, kitchen space was much appreciated.

Landscaping in the back areas is a work in progress.
