The owner/manager has always been nice. We had a nice chat and caught up after a couple years. He has spent some time and money fixing and cleaning up the property since I last stayed. It's a very old motel so the doors creak and some rooms need total remodel but it's a small business trying to make it. I support Lone Pine when I can.

Sure this motel is a little bit "dated" but we loved it! Immediately upon arriving the owner came to our room and spent 10 minutes helping us set up the TV! For all those people giving this motel a low rating, maybe you should stay in the Bay area. I will stay here every time we come through Garberville!

Good location, the price was fine, the owners were personable and friendly, the room I had was generously spacious and I found it to be perfectly quiet.

Although it was fine for me and fine for the price I paid, there was a lot of visible deferred maintenance within the room and around the outside. The bed and surfaces were all very fresh and clean in appearance, but there was definitely room for improvement with regards to cleaning. I did detect loose dirt along the baseboards and collected dust and bugs in light fixtures and other surfaces. I really didn't care for the fact that there wasn't a privacy lock on the door, but I did feel safe there anyways. With this being said, it was still quite adequate for me, I would book here again.

It was quiet and comfortable. I could hear crickets at night. The bathroom was spacious.

The Internet didn't work and the TV required internet or only a few channels were available.

Our original booked room was in a noisier location. Owner was nice to move us to a less noisy location.

When I travel I just need a place to sleep, a bed. It was in a good location which I look for when traveling. Another thing I look for is location of eating establishments close by. The restaurant was right next door.

I want a place to sleep but I expect it to be clean. The bathroom could use a lot of work.

It's right off of the highway, which was perfect for me because I was DONE driving 🤣 Is it the most fancy, no, but it was clean and safe. The owner was on-site and beyond kind and just a happy guy!!

No blow dryer, but I can live without it.

This was good value for the area. It was well located, close to a bar that serves late night food.

Some of the towels looked as though the previous user cleaned their shoes with them. A nice add would be to provide shampoo.
