The hotel was quite nice. It was modern and had nice amenities. When I called for assistance from the room, the staff was very responsive and helpful. Very helpful! The room was clean and the lighting was calming. I appreciated the microwave down the hall, the soaps in the bathroom, and the ample desk space. The cleaning staff was also very friendly and helpful. The hotel did not know it was one of my first travel experiences and they made it a positive one. (Update) Glad to see the Sheraton replied to the review! I will take you up on the mention of coming back to stay. I certainly hope that my notes will be considered for the next time so that I can work with less hassle and interference. Thanks

The computers for use had the worst internet connection I have experienced in a long, long time. The average speed test was less than 2Mbps. I also feel that having limited sessions to use the computers was very disappointing and having those sessions timed with such short time spans made it very, very difficult to work!

The pool and the beds were very nice.

The bathroom didn't have a fan so it became a sauna very quickly and the mirrors got foggy and the whole room was humid. The AC was pre set to not go below 69.5 and after the humid bathroom streamed up the whole room it wouldn't cool down.

Airport is very close and convenient location in regards to Hotel.

The explanation/ and parking situation. All parking is now Valet in the front of the Hotel. Prices were misquoted and had actually increased and the front desk clerk did not share proper pricing. Elevators were NOT working for 2 days of our stay. It took 25 minutes to get down to the lobby due to elevator issues. Cleaning staff cared more about the issues and helped more than the Front desk/guest services department.

Great location. I like that it’s a big hotel because it has a more frequent shuttle rotation. The resto-bar has good food. I love that there’s a Starbucks in the lobby. The gym and pool facilities were excellent. Bed and bath were clean. Bed is comfortable and I had a great sleep. Easy checkin and out.

My wife has ADHD so she tends to ask questions repeatedly, and the staff just had no patience for that. Elevators were slow or not all were working. I’d have taken the stairs but you’ll be led to escalators that don’t run. The bed for people with handicap is surprisingly high and difficult to climb (we had to ask for a platform) vs beds for people with no disabilities. The reception area is confusing because I booked a Sheraton and saw Marriott signs all over. In the end, I don’t know where I stayed.

Room, was well done design wise, plenty of room. Attitude of help was excellent also went out of her way to please me.

Two things #1, airport shuttle was slow getting to airport terminal 4and became over filled. Driver tried to remove people but that was impossible as I was sitting in the front set and saw what was happening. You need more shuttles or accurate time lines on your current ones. # 2,I was going to rent a car when I arrived but your $60 per day parking fee is by me crazy. When we stayed at th Royal York in Toronto the f was $57per day. I will no it pay an additional 50 percent of my room rate to park a car for 12 hours.

Close to air port, good big comfortable rooms, Starbucks in room coffee, free shuttle.

The place to wait for Shuttle was not clear (suggest they advise customers to go to Departure Level (L2) and look out for pink red Hotel Shuttle stop signs by the road (they did not explain which levels and there are similar signage at departure level ). Further, the Shuttles are typically full. In all, it took me more than 1.5 hours to find and stop one that I was (reluctantly) allowed to hop on (even that was quite full). If you only have cabin bags with you, walking there would be way faster for United travellers.

This was a great stay. I’ve stayed here a few times. The room was mostly clean. Positives: The staff was super nice!!! They let me stay after my check out because I had meetings on the east coast!!! I appreciate that. The bar/restaurant was good too. Areas of growth: The toilet in my room had issues and there were fruit flies in the room.

I only stayed overnight due to a delayed flight, but the location was excellent (right next to the airport) and the 24hr shuttle service was extremely convenient. The price for the quality was stellar - I was really impressed.

Not the airport's fault, but there were some protests going on that began very early in the morning. Some guests were clearly disgruntled. It didn't both me as much because I had to wake up early anyways to catch my delayed flight, but I can imagine that would have been annoying for guests trying to sleep longer.

The location was so convenient, literally right at the entrance to LAX. Instead of waiting for the shuttle, I decided to walk to the hotel, and it only took 10 minutes, and don’t have to cross or turn on any street, just went straight down the sidewalk outside terminal 1. While from the architecture you can tell the hotel is 35+ years old, the inside doesn’t show the age at all. The lobby was clean and nicely updated, as were the rooms. The bar/restaurant off of the lobby was reasonably priced and the food, while nothing spectacular, tasted great and came out quick. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I honestly don’t have a bad word to say. This is not only a great airport hotel, it would be a great place to stay anywhere in the city.

I’m trying to think of anything negative to say, and I’ve got nothing. I was only there for one night, so maybe I would’ve found something with a longer stay, but I can’t imagine it would be anything that would be too impactful.

I enjoyed the restaurant and starbucks onsite was handy (although it closed at 3pm), especially as I was waiting (after checkout) for a flight later that evening. The room has good facilities and the staff on the desk were excellent. The shuttle was prompt although it took a bit of finding amongst all the others at LAX.

The bathroom showed signs of rust and aging and did not feel entirely clean under foot. The air-conditioning unit was rather noisy when it came on and impacted my sleep. The TV had only cable options.
