Cool, hipster vibe. Openaire restaurant on site was great, plus an Alfred’s coffee downstairs!

My only suggestion would be to add more hooks in the rooms to hang towels. There is only 1, and nowhere to even hang the hand towel in the washroom. A dresser would be great as well.

Overall a good solid contemporary hotel with a lot of meeting space downstairs, decent gym and friendly staff. Great location if you like to walk around. Plenty of great restaurants, spas, coffee shops etc. Also wonderful interesting architecture if that interests you

I would recommend if you are a light sleeper, not to get a room on the street side. The floor to ceiling window is amazing, but not very sound proof if you're looking to have a restful night's sleep as traffic is pretty much constant on Wilshire BVLD. I opted to move to the quieter side and was a good decision with an incredible view - but I did have to pay $50 per day extra for this room.

location was good

Had no kettle to make tea. Every time you took a shower, the whole bathroom floor would get wet and there was no ventilation in there, so it would fog up quickly.

great service, loved the on site restaurant, awesome location

the gym needs some updating. not many of the machines work, it’s a pretty small space and very busy, and quite hot.

Overall this is a very good deal (I pay less than an airport hotel room) - the hotel is well designed and maintained, there are little details that are delightful, and both the rooms and public area are very clean. I am working remotely during the trip so the big desk is definitely a very good feature. The staff are nice, very helpful when needed but also just happy to leave us alone if we need privacy. I like the casual atmosphere in the hotel, not rigid greetings/ formalities. We stayed in the King Room which is quite comfortable for two people. It’s true that there are traffic noise from the street, but with the double layer curtain it’s fine (me and my friend have sleeping issues but we both find the situation alright!) K Town is a strange place- but I am in Los Angeles for Asian food, and I use the public transport so it works out very well.

This is my second time staying at the LINE and as always the staff was excellent. They went above and beyond when I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and left a card with wine. The Lobby area was a fun spot to grab quick bites and happy hour. Travis at the bar was amazing, making us want to go back! We also enjoyed the pool and the 2 clubs they have in the hotel which were super fun! I highly recommend both Breakroom 86 and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang but go early as the lines get long!

I really wish there was an either coffeepot or Kuerig and a microwave. I like to enjoy tea at time and black coffee in the morning, plus we tend to have leftovers so those simple amenities would've have made it a 5 for me.

Loved the location, and the amenities inside the hotel as well as lounging by the pool. Walking distance to restaurants and only 15 minutes from DLTA. The room was spacious and mostly quiet (some street noise in the evenings). Appreciated the live music in the lobby on Thursday evening except the bar stopped working (see complaint below).

The parking situation was not ideal as it is an extra cost you need to add on per day. There are garage lots a couple of blocks away we used instead, but still pricier than I am used to. Unfortunately, the bed we had in our room is way too soft and had large dips on both sides making my back ache in the morning. I highly suggest you replace that mattress in room 1001. I do not understand how a bar can stop serving alcohol because their "system is down" I get that you don't want to handle cash, but ummmm....take the room # and charge us later.

The hotel is located in the heart of KTown, so there is good korean food and Korean Barbeque just down the block. There were also fun things to do at night. We could walk/rent e-scooters to Arena KTown (Club popular amongst asian crowd) as well Normandie club which was on the other side of the block(Upscale Dive bar). Both places were fun in different ways. I noticed the people who stayed were fairly young and a few of them were open to chatting, but we were only back in the hotel room late at night. The room was clean and had an auto open/closing of blinds. They had a wall mounted TV you could connect to via the desk. The first floor has a to go coffee/breakfast spot which served really good breakfast burritos. The pool on the second floor is open air, so its a sweet place to relax. They also have a restaurant/bar on the second floor that you need to walk though to get to the pool, so it might get a little awkward going though there in a swimsuit.

The hotel walls were concrete so walking down the hallways felt a little like a jail cell. The valet cost $50 a night so its pretty steep, but I felt it beat having to park more than half a mile away at available street parking. The bathroom door isn't really a door, it just is a sliding panel which is fine if you are a couple, but I was staying with friends.

The Line hotel was great for my first time in Los Angeles. The location is convenient to explore other parts of LA (I travelled by uber everywhere). Staff are friendly and the room was well kept, clean and has everything you need, especially if you're staying for just a few days.

The noise from the street can be easily heard, however it's not terrible.

- the hotel was so clean and comfortable. - The behavior of the staff was wonderful.

It was hard to take a shower, It was difficult to know how to get a hot water. Second thing I needed to charge my electronics so bad, but I found out that the head of the charger doesn’t fit because, my charger is European, lucky me I had a power bank and I charged my phone, and literally I ordered a charger head from amazon. So I recommend to have at least One European socket in the room, that would be a life saver.
