Everything was fine. The maid (Lupe) was fantastic!

Weekend traffic was quite noisy but we expected that. Weekend beach goers!!

Beach is across the street. Very nice view from the lookout at the property. Pool was great. We also like the privacy of the place, clean and neat.

There were a few broken patio lights, it would be nicer to walk up there if there was more lightning. Also the bed needs to be replaced or fixed. If you guys implemented a microwave in your office during operational hours would also make the stay better.

The location was the best. I jogged at the beach every morning and it's minutes from Crosscreek shopping, restaurants and morning coffee (in addition to coffee in the room). The building and room had a nice style. The bathroom and shower were very nice with beautiful tile and glass-door shower. It was very clean and simple. No carpeting! Hooray! The WiFi was exceptionally good. The staff was friendly. They were prepared with ear plugs for us for the PCH traffic. The pool area is nice and the little patio up on the hill where you can see the ocean.

The noise on PCH from the traffic. There is a lot of noise. They left earplugs. We kept forgetting to try them. It probably would've helped. Also, the second and third nights, we didn't notice it so much at all.

I liked the hotel's close proximity to Pepperdine University (I was in Malibu for Pepperdine graduation).

I didn't expect the hotel to be configured the way it was. I booked the hotel based on the recommendation of a Pepperdine classmate. I was expecting a traditional hotel with traditional hotel amenities. I didn't expect to not have elevators available to get to the upper floors. Overall, however, the hotel met my needs, as I didn't want to be too far a distance from Pepperdine University (I was in town for Pepperdine graduation).

Great location near Malibu Pier and surfing spot. Good value for money for the area. Room really clean and fresh with good decor. Nice touches with chocolates and good quality toiletries.

No staff at site on check-in, had to phone to sort access - minor concern. We didn’t mind the road noise which reduced at night but may disturb light sleepers. Perhaps a few cocktails at the nearby restaurants may help.

super clean, charming, California chic vibe. Exactly what I expected for the price. nice ocean view. easy check in and check out. I just wish we could have stayed longer! it was not the weather for it, but the pool looked nice. some people complained about street noise and we didn’t find it to be an issue. The blinds and curtains gave enough blackout that room was dark enough for a good sleep in.

The location is in a great spot and the room was spacious and relaxing. We found a beautiful little path behind the hotel with seating to look at the ocean. It was perfect.

The street is busy especially with racing at night, but otherwise an amazing location.

I liked everything about this place. I stayed at 3 different hotels while driving down the California Coast and this was not only the least expensive (233.61), but also my favorite. I love the classic look (even an old school ‘real’ key!) the comfort (super comfy beds and pillows) and the very appreciated items like boxed water and earplugs. I asked the manager where to eat and he suggested D’Amores Pizza which is right next door. I got the chicken parm and it was delicious! I would definitely stay here again!!! Thank you!

The only suggestion I have is to add a small charging port for phones.

Nice spacious and clean room with a comfortable bed and bathroom. No airconditioning but a good ceiling fan so not an issue unless in a heat wave maybe. Friendly staff, good neighbourhood within walking distance from food, downtown and the beach (both SM pier and Venice Beach). Good, safe and free parking space on premises
