Great quiet stay. Wife said this was better than our usual hotel chain choices. Mother in law needed an accessible room, and the walk in shower and unit was comfortable for her. We enjoyed the included breakfast,(at least 3 hot items, good coffee machine, fruits.) The staff was all super-friendly and helpful. Our favorite was David who was always positive, on hand and working hard - and he even got us extra towels. Elizabeth at front desk was also a sweetheart. Great location, easy parking - will definitely come back when in the area.

The security door and our unit doors slams hard when shutting - the only time we heard outside noise.

Access to shuttle; ability to store luggage until we checked in. Lovely, clean room with fireplace and all amenities. Great shower!

Better breakfast options.

The buildings, grounds, and rooms were clean, attractive, and well lit at night. The courtyard setting felt safe and garden-like. Gated glass enclosed hallways were a nice safety feature and also let natural light in. Nearby surrounding areas offered a good choice of restaurants and stores. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and delicious -- options for everyone.

Adjacent buildings are taller than the Millwood and close to the property, but room windows face into the attractive courtyard so there's no impact on privacy.

We booked this hotel because we were leaving from SFO the next morning. We were able to avoid morning expressway traffic. The bathroom was beautiful and had the best shower of our week-long stay in California. The breakfast had warm options and the room had a fridge and microwave. The staff members were friendly.

I was uncomfortable with the locked, glassed areas to get to our room, sensing security issues. We never felt threatened in any way, though. The blow dryer was stored in the small closet - but it least it had a blow dryer!

Exceptionally clean, including bedrooms, dinning area, parking lot and laundry room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Well maintained building with nice small touches. One of the best places I’ve stayed in USA! Well done Millwood!

Bathroom sliding door could do with a handle as it was a bit difficult to lock, but that a quick fix. Would be nice if they added a clothes hanging knobs in the bathroom, again no big deal.

We had an overnight layover in SF. This is a beautifully updated classic motel in a quiet location near SFO. New bathroom, bed, etc. Totally comfy. The surprise was the very nice complimentary breakfast, which included tasty waffles. Nice touch!

This is just me, but I am not fond of electric heaters. Fortunately, we only needed to turn it on for a few minutes.

the room was very nice furnished and the bed was very comfy; the airport shuttle was convenient; the heating was kind of electronic chimney and looked very nice.

the latest checkout was 12:00 midday. our flight back home started 7 hours later so it would be nice to extend the checkout time for 2 hours (for a small extra price). the breakfast was until 9:30 open. when we was there (around 9:00) there still were 4 slices of white bred, 3 eggs and 4 apples. it was okay, but we would have appreciated the things where filled up in between.

This was an upgraded, boutique motel. It had all of the amenities that you may want in a hotel near the airport. Close to shopping, comfortable room, helpful staff.

Unfortunately, the walls/ceilings are a little thin. I was woken up by the folks upstairs packing up to leave for a presumably very early flight the next morning. Not sure how that can be avoided, except to stagger the guests in every other room.

Beautiful, different, or unique setting. I loved the curtains outside all the way around the building. It reminded me of a villa Very clean, it had everything you needed for coffee. They had real glasses not just plastic and everything looked almost new

Nothing to dislike but I was not there very long less than 24 hours but everything was good

Very close to the airport. Which was what I want after a 16 hours flight and want to pass out right away after the flight. Check in was super quick and the lady in the reception was very very nice. Breakfast was nice.

Some random people walking around the property parking at night, just does not feel very safe so don't recommend if you're traveling alone.
