Compact and had everything we needed. Ample parking, very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, microwave and room heating.

We fortunately got our own microwaveable dishes and cutlery to use as these weren't provided. The shower starts from cold to hot, the cubicle is small, so on a cold day, you would need to be covered with cold water for a few seconds until you get to the warmth required. You can stay out of the cubicle until the knob is where the water is warm enough and then go in. It sounds complicated here, but you will understand what I mean when you are there. While there us an ice machine that's accessible all the time, drinking water is available only between 8am to 10pm, or when the manager is present. But the water from the sink in the room was said to be potable.

I love the fact that they have EV charging available. They are located very close to the mall, and the area is safe and nice. I really enjoy their prices sometimes, as they can be affordable.

I don’t know if they can help it, but the walls are pretty thin, and the floors squeak. I forgot to ask to be placed up on top where I know I won’t be bothering people down below because I don’t thump on the floors. My neighbor on top was noisy, and I could hear snoring during the night.

The hotel has everything you would want for a practical, comfortable, and affordable stay in Monterey. This is not a luxury accommodation but if you're spending your day out and about it's a nice place to come back to sleep in the evening. Our room was small but clean and tidy. The bed comfortable and in the room was a simple coffee maker. The bathroom included a tub. There was free coffee and tea and water in the lobby. The hotel staff were friendly.

This is a small, quaint hotel. Rooms are small, walls a little thin, but it was quiet after 10 and felt very safe.

The female owner was my greeter and check in person. What a wonderful woman. She made me feel very welcome to their beautiful spot in Southern California. She told me the exact location to the grocery store and again to the beach. At the end of my 4 year travels this Inn was spot on and I was sorry to leave. The room was very spacious, coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator were working and in the room. There was a patio with tables and benches and/or chairs available on the lower level.

We like just about everything about this property. The booking is simple and easy to do. The staff is friendly. The room was so comfortable and clean and the bed was the best bed we’ve ever ever been anywhere at Monterey. Would like this place.

The only peaky feedback I can give them is to fix the steps leading up to the second floor on the left side, as they are very rickety, and maybe clean the icemaker as it looks stained.

Me and my partner really enjoyed the location. It was very close to a shopping center, close to the aquarium, and close to downtown Monterey. While driving to the Villa Franca, you can see the ocean which it was a very nice view. We also really liked the scents of their shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. We also appreciated that they provided an iron and ironing board in the room.

Es feito por fuera. Pero " decente" pir dentro. Las toallas estan muy viejas y rasposas. Ya no se ven blancas. Se ven grisses. It dors not look good by putside but its " decent" by inside the room". They need to throw aeay the towels because are very graspy , old and does noy look white anymore. I have not even ysed them since I rather to vring my owm towel for myself and my kids.

During our recent trip to Monterey, we were so impressed by this place that we couldn't resist staying here again on our way back. The beds were a haven of comfort, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The overall ambiance of the room was tastefully understated, free from any excessive showiness. Whether we wanted to enjoy the coastal beauty or delve into local attractions, everything was within a comfortable reach. From start to finish, our stay here was an absolute pleasure. The check-in was quick and the staff was friendly and courteous. The room was spacious and very clean; the two queen beds were the perfect firmness and the location is a quick walk from downtown.

The room was a bit dark (but the bathroom was very bright), but I believe it was only our room and a few more due to the position. I would have loved a few more hangers in the room and/or the bathroom.

This i s the first place I've stayed since Covid - and we've stayed many nights - that offered daily housekeeping service. Fantastic Surprise! Really felt like they cared and the level of service was wonderful. Very Quiet too.

The fireplace is so close to the end of the bed that you can't really sit in front of it. But, it is as pictured so was as advertised.
