Dolly, the proprietor, was a fabulous ray of sunshine! She really made our stay so enjoyable. Breakfast was not fancy but it was very well made and delicious...as were the homemade cookies that were available 24x7! The bed was very comfortable and the room was cool and dark for good sleeping. It was an easy walk to downtown Napa. Good parking albeit a bit tight. The contactless checkin and checkout was very simple. Overall a great value for money.

The rooms are a bit tight but very manageable. The clawfoot tub has old world charm but we'd have preferred a simple shower room.

The old style of Cabernet House, they have another attached house that is not so pretty and the rooms are super dark. Because a misunderstanding we stay one night in the attached house. The location is great.

Yo cannot select the items on your breakfast dish. They served the dish full with the menu of the day. The personnel was super weird, specifying not asked details about how often they change the door password, the fact that every time we entered or leave the property they have an alert. Looks like they don’t feel safe with the guests, it was so highlighted that becomes weird and unconditionally situation. At some point we were just silent, taking part of the breakfast they offered to us.

Great location, extremely clean, nice helpful staff. The breakfast was mediocre but made with care.

The place was great yet a bit "janky". It needs a bit of TLC and maintenance. Some leaky pipes (sewage?) Outside, some trim falling off in main dining room, cracks in walls here and there, the bottom of the toilet was cracked and missing (did not affect function) and the bathroom sink faucet moves back and forth. The jacuzzi was not working when we first arrived, then they got it to work but after that the awning would not work. Great clean place but It visually needs some TLC.

It is indeed an elegant victorian house stay-inn at Napa. The interior is beauty beyond expectation. Superb cleanliness, evident by neat, tidy, and refreshing scent all the way from the lobby to the room. It is like a home away from home. The staff, mostly Ms. Amvic is exceptionally warm and accommodating. The breakfast was mouthwatering, freshly prepared and cooked by the house chef Sir Jeff. I don’t usually give a feedback but this one really deserves an excellent review. I will definitely come back to old world inn whenever I visit Napa.

Nothing at all.

The hostess was excellent and very easy to get ahold of. She was thorough and had made the stay very easy and personable! The location is very convenient. Downtown area was about a 12-15 minute walk, we were able to avoid using our car the whole time we were there for the shops, restaurants, bars, etc.

Some instructions left in the room were not as intuitive as they seemed. Some of the features didn't work such as the fireplace heater, however regular room heating and a/c were fine to use.

The owners were super friendly and our included breakfast was spectacular… I don’t eat meat or dairy and I was still able to have eat. Our room was spacious and clean, bed and sheets were very comfortable. Location was great as well, we were able to walk downtown. Would definitely recommend and if traveling to Napa will stay there again.

Would have been nice to have the firepit working at night.

It is an elegant period home with comfortable furnishings and themed bedrooms. We enjoyed our 3 night stay in the Night in Paris room, delicious breakfasts, and sitting around the back patio fire pit beneath the orange tree in the evenings. We rode our bikes to a few wineries on the nearby bike trail. Amvic is a gracious hostess and helped make our stay memorable. Thank you!

Nothing.

Location was great - able to easily walk to downtown Napa for shopping, restaurants, Wine Train, etc. Breakfast was really nice, great variety plate (not just a plate full of a single item). Rooms were very clean, plenty of towels, shampoos, etc. Fireplace was nice, temperature easily controlled by us. Fabulous stay, would definitely stay there again.

Parking is limited, had to park on street. The breakfast was really nice but you don't get any choices - you sit down and they literally give you the same plate of food as everyone else. Would have been nice to be told what it is and ask for any personalizations (for example, no bananas on top of my french toast since I absolutely detest bananas).

Very adorable and clean historic home with a great location. The Starry nights room is the best! Bright with a big comfy bed, outside private whirlpool tub, and a giant claw foot tub. There was even a white noise machine, so we listened to ocean sounds falling asleep. You can walk to the main street too!

nothing!

It was gorgeous! We felt like we were staying in an old Victorian style house not a hotel. The beds had canopies, there was beautiful art around and they surprisingly gave us a two room suite instead of the one room we booked for the same price!! There was a full kitchen right outside our door and two relaxing gardens. We could walk (10 min) to downtown Napa so didn’t have to worry about wining and driving. Breakfast was amazing with table service not continental and so beautifully set up. Staff was so kind. We loved it!!! Also email said check in 3-6 pm but we found out it was self check in and was ok to come later which was a relief as we arrived closer to 6:30

Everything was amazing only minor flaw was that toilet flush was low pressure so had to be flushed a few times and window in the bathroom we couldn’t figure out how to open but these issues were so minor we didn’t mind at all! We loved it here!
