Location is unmatched! Right on the pier! Close to the swing sets! We got the three bed, two bedroom. It was great to have the extra bed!

There wasn’t a dresser or table, no chairs inside the room so your only option was to sit on the beds. It was the room feel cramped to not have anywhere to put our luggage. There were cobwebs from the light in our single bed bedroom. We were too tired to call for the maintenance and just dusted it ourselves. For the price we paid I felt that was not right. The parking lot is directly next to the single level rooms. I wish there was a plant or some division between. Ultimately the location was the winning factor and we really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, located right on the beach and the price was definitely worth it! My granddaughters and 1 were visiting from Kansas and hadn’t been to the beach in over five years. The staff at Dolphin Cove or helpful in answering all of our questions and guiding us to different locations throughout Pismo Beach to ensure we had a pleasant vacation. If we ever come back, we will definitely stay again.

The property was just right for our needs. We just needed a bed and a shower close to the beach. If we had stayed longer, we would have needed a larger room with a kitchenette but I do believe they have those on site as well.

The location is great, just in front of the pier and the ocean. The room had 3 queen beds which worked perfectly for our family of 5 as a one night stop on the way from San Diego to the Bay Area. However, it would be too small for a longer stay. We were getting in late, and the person from the registration desk called us, told about the room and left the keys for us to pick up. It was very convenient

The floor was not very clean. And, to our surprise, we found a small cockroach on the wall. There was a microwave in the room, standing on the fridge. However, the power cord of the microwave was too short to reach to any of the available outlets - we couldn't use it.

Location, Location, Location. Walking distance on boardwalk to shops, restaurants, pier, pubs, etc. Highly recommend. Our favourite seaside spot between Hollywood and San Francisco.

We were on the lower floor. The waterfront view would have been better on the 1st floor. Also the sound of walking from people staying above was quite loud. There are no lifts. If you stay on top floor you take your bags up steps. But I’m sure worth it for the view.

From checkin to checking out the hotel manager was asking how we were doing and if we needed anything. He had an amazing sense of humor. That said housekeeping was also great. Rooms were exceptionally clean, upgraded and well maintained. Location was right on the beach with an outdoor patio with grill for our use. The price for a 2 bedroom suite was incredible. There was also a pullout which my grandson loved. Manager recommended several bars and restaurants when we checked in. Pismo Beach was an amazing area. Not overcrowded like San Diego and so many choices for drinks and food that were all excellent. There’s even a great food truck on the pier with exceptional prices.

Not one blessed thing. They hit the mark on everything!

The service was exceptional. We came thru at 7pm. They also emailed what time we were expected to show up. The view and room was perfect. The wall heater is dusty and the bed was okay. Location was literally right at the beach! So beautiful. We got a 3 bed room, perfect for my family, one bed was in a separate room with a TV. There is a board walk right near the hotel. The hotel had nice little outdoor chairs for each room.

The only minor thing I didn't like was the lighting in the bathroom. The bathroom is shaped a little odd so the shower didn't get any light.

The property was right off the pier.

Big vehicles are allowed to park right in front of the doors which are facing the ocean, so it blocks the view and you feel closed in. I mentioned to the clearly about the parking and his response was don’t park in front of your window and do you want an upgrade? I have a small car. If I didn’t park in front of my room someone else was going to do it. I told him the room description stated that it was ocean room. They should include a blurb about how views can be blocked by large cars if you are downstairs.

One of the highlights of the property is its convenient location, with all the nearby restaurants adding to the appeal. Moreover, the breathtaking ocean view enhances the experience, making it an ideal destination for families looking to enjoy a memorable trip.

The mini fridge was unfortunately non-functional, likely due to some outlets not working properly. Additionally, there was an issue with the light on the side of the bed not functioning.

Great location right on the beach front. Amazing room and the staff was super friendly and helpful! Pismo beach was a bit of a surprise location on the road trip, really enjoyed the place, the beach and the motel was super located to enjoy the area. We will be back next time we're in California.

Only niggle was maybe get some nicer pillows (I like a medium/soft but my wife likes a firm) just to add an option for guests. But we still had a good night's sleep so by no means did it make the stay uncomfortable!!!
