We traveled to Pismo for an overnight stay because we were racing near by. Clean room. Location was within walking distance to beach, pier, and local restaurants. Provided continental breakfast in the morning with healthy options which we appreciated. Staff was very friendly.

The hotel is older and they’ve done a good job trying to update decor in room, but there were some structures that needed attention like the sealant around the tub, baseboards need dusting, and fabrics on couch and chairs need deep cleaning. Saw some stains. But everything else was clean included the linens on the bed.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you so much for letting us bring our dog and for the dog treat as well. Your staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the room was very comfortable. The location was exactly what I wanted, something close to the beach and central enough to walk to restaurants and entertainment. The steps to the beach were literally right there next to the hotel. What was also nice was that there was plenty of parking. We managed to get a space right in front of our unit. FYI, for the dogs, there is a little grassy area near the pool for them to do their business. Thank you so much!

Not much to dislike. The fridge was in the corner next to the AC unit and was a little hard to reach and get to but no big deal.

Beach is close by - just get the down the stairs at the end of the property - about 300 feet away Nice restaurants around the property. Safe to walk around. Everything is close by to walk Front desk staff is friendly, has complimentary water, coffee, cookies.

The property seemed a little expensive - even for off peak season. We stayed there Sunday,Monday The bathroom could have been much better - the caulking around the shower area was worn out, the shower force is too slow

The location was super nice! in front of the beach, accessible by a wooden ladder so if you're traveling with special capabilities perhaps consider other option. The room was big, the bed super comfy and we had nice amenities such as coffee maker, microwave and a small fridge. One of the good things is the free parking space, if you're lucky enough you get to park in front of your door. I absolutely adored the hot tub, it was fully functional with warm temperature.

I suggest that they lower or get rid of that half wall in front of the hot tub, it is the only thing getting in your way of looking at the ocean while using these amenities. The bathroom could use a revamp. And also their TV's are not smart.

I liked that the pool has lounge areas in the shade and the sun. The pool was clean and I enjoyed swimming in it with my nieces. We loved that there was beach access. I would definitely stay again when I visit Pismo.

Every time you stood up from the toilet the back hit the wall and 1 time each day about 5:30 PM ish the power went out for 10 seconds then came back on. That was a little weird but it didn’t deter from my stay it was just peculiar 🤣. Staff were all Super friendly, helpful and we’re in a constant state of cleaning.

Great location, less than 1 block from the beach; walking distance to pier and local restaurants.

Older motel; bathroom was clean, but can use some updating. Requested a balcony with a partial view of the ocean, and that was what we got, but unfortunately, the balcony over looked an alley-like parking lot and the partial ocean view was between apartment buildings. The website pictures showed the section of the hotel that did have a better view, but we did not get a room in that section. Since we were only stopping for one night, it was adequate for the price.

The location. First time bringing grandchildren to the hotel I took their mother to as a child. Elevator to take heavy items to third floor. Staff offered the lobby bathroom for kids to change into for the beach until our room was ready. We were accommodated until one hour before checkin time for parking on site the next day so kids could enjoy another beach day before leaving. Walking distance to places to eat and souvenir shops. Again, location is short walking distance to beach . Cannot wish for a better location.

I didn’t like the bathroom in the room. Gap around bathtub faucet with some greyish areas around the caulking.

I think we must have been upgraded to a better room than the budget one we had reserved, which was really nice. We could see the ocean as we stepped out of the room. The heated pool and hot tub were also very nice and we swam, even though it was early November. We stayed just one night, on our way home, as our last stop on a three week road trip. The bed was super comfortable and there was a basic breakfast in the lobby in the morning. Also, they allowed our tiny dog with no extra charge! I definitely can recommend.

Loved the layout of the room, it was super clean, right across from the beach and the pool. Price was a good value. We requested extra pillows and they were happy to accommodate us. Lots of seating to spread out in the room. The little fireplace ambiance was a nice touch.

The kitchen light did not work. It came on, but the bulb would not go past a dim light and we had to use our phone lights to light up the kitchen at night. There was a water puddle outside of the room from other guest going up the stairs that never went away. A doormat would have been nice to keep from tracking water and sand into the room.

We LOVED the pool! It was kept so warm - the warmest pool I've ever been in aside from geothermal ones. I hate cold water but did not hesitate to go in even when it was 50 degrees out or at night time since it was like a lukewarm bath. The kids swam in it for hours and there was only one more family in there. Best kept secret! The location is great - right next to the beach and to town. The staff is very friendly. The muffins in the morning, cookies in the evening, and 24 hour coffee/tea availability is really really nice, especially on cold days. Last time we stayed here, we had some issues with the furniture not being in great shape and some other things, but this time was much smoother and it was a very relaxing, great stay! We invited one other family to join us and they also really appreciated the hotel. The one bedroom suites also have cups and plates and some silverware, which is super handy for leftovers.

The fridge didn't have a freezer. The bottom part of the couch in room 307 had a muddy boot print stain. There is no heater in the bedroom... although that keeps it quieter in there! Would also appreciate a clothes line in the shower for the wet swimsuits.
