Incredible hotel on top of Nob Hill with a stunning courtyard and lobby. A great place to have friends meet up at if you stay here and even get drinks or light food at the restaurant. Rooms are nice and large, with great quality furniture despite being a bit dated. The gym is quality and the property overall is top notch. I have stayed here many times and will continue staying here well into the future.

I have seen, on many occasions, mice running around in the hotel restaurant and have heard of guests on the ground floor finding a mouse in their hotel room. This absolutely needs to be taken care of because it is difficult to forget at such a stunning hotel. Unrelated, the WiFi is super slow. You get around 20mbps which is not excusable in 2022 considering the 5G I get in and around the hotel through my phone gives me over 200mbps. Do whatever needs to be done so guests can actually get high speed Wi-Fi.

quiet. comfortable beds. spacious rooms.

paying extra for WiFi seemed like we are being nickel and dimed while also paying such high room prices. more affordable accommodation options include it free. I’d recommend you consider doing the same. we were v unhappy with this.

Room was nice just need to be a bit refreshed it's a bit old, especially bathroom really old with an ugly shower. Gym was nice and big, breakfast was really good(very expansive though), location was great, hotel very well kept just a bit decadent.

Bathroom was too old, it needs to be renewed and shower to be updated. Valet parking way to expensive 75 dollars per night probably the most expensive of my life no sense they gotta reduce it. One Asian American receptionist with glasses was very rude when I asked him to print out an invoice with the total stay he said asked booking.com we cannot do it. Breakfast was very expensive, the hotel is one of the most historical ones but they need to refresh and lower the prices which were higher than the Ritz, St Regis and Four Seasons that are more luxurious and well kept.

Beautiful old world charm of the property. Nice, helpful friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Pay extra for a suite with bay and city view and it was worth it.

Missed our flight home due to delay in getting our vehicle from hotel garage valet. It was early around 3am time and was informed there wasn’t enough staff working during the hours/car was blocked etc. We didn’t get our car until about one hour after. The gentleman helping us was very nice and felt genuinely concerned for us- we thank you!! Paid late fee for car return and had to get new tickets for a family of 7!! Quite stressful. Give yourself extra, extra time if you do early am check out like us.

Rooms are very big - walk in closet large bathroom

For the prices they charge the lobby bar should stay open longer. it states 11pm (which is early. considering paying 650 a night) but last orders was 10:15 and bar staff were clear they wanted to leave leave.

Area, old historical building, bar Tonga, garden, view from balcony Nice hotel. Quiet and big rooms. We celebrated a birthday. It was good!

Not so clean as expected from the price. Windows were dirty (Most of people pay for a great view!) No bathrobes and home shoes, it is not good for one of the most expensive rooms in a 5 star hotel. I am not sure about free water. All the drinks are in the bar and it is complicated to understand it is free or not. Of course wi-fi must be free! (I never met paid wi-fi, even in motels=) Expensive parking. Please add information about beds - we expected king-size bed in our room, but it was queen-size one.

Location was perfect. Room was very nice and comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful.

It would have been great if there would have been some bathrobes in our room to use during our stay. We would have preferred that the mini frig in the room have been empty so we could have put our waters other beverages and snacks in it. I asked a room attendant if it could be emptied of the contents since we would not be needing or using anything in it during our stay. We were told they could not do that.

staff is available and approachable, very helpful and cheerful. I liked the available retail as well. Nice selections. I purchased from the jewelry store and the florist, and would have from the gift shop if there was room in my suitcase! Appreciated the daily maid replenishing the decaf coffee and tea, as I cannot drink caffiene. Nice touches throughout.

I was very surprised by the tattered towels, and feel this is one area you can step up, to a more plush and new towel.
