..Though small, the room was CLEAN. .. Extremely QUIET .. Bed was extremely COMFORTABLE ================== We didn't use the gym or the conference room but had BREAKFAST daily ( 7 days) ...Breakfast options:- ..Eggs(Scrambled), Hash Brown/ Roasted Potato, Ham/Sausage ..Pan Cakes, Muffins, Croissant/Donuts ..Fruits/Yogurt/Corn Flakes ..Coffee/Orange Juice ..Bread toaster belt The sumptuous breakfast kept us full as we went around exploring SFO. ...Free Water (half * only for this) I've often come across hotels either charging you for drinking water or have vending machines. This hotel has a water dispenser at the lobby and we didn't have to worry about managing our drinking water. They have ice vending machines at different floors as well. ========= ...HALF block away from Powell Street 🚠 (trust me, you will be using them quite often) .. Surrounded by multiple bus stops (nearest is 3 mins walk) ...3 block away from Union Square ...6/7 min walk from Chinatown ⛩️ Extremely safe at night and has a pizza outlet just outside which stays open very late.

Can't think of any but then while traveling we usually don't have lofty expectations. The hotel was adequate in terms of cleanliness, comfort, breakfast and location. Wifi connection could have been better

The free breakfast was excellent, eggs, bacon, waffles, etc. The mattress was comfy and everything was clean. Very quiet room, we stayed on the top floor. Check-in was quick and easy.

The rooms where amazingly tiny, shower was tiny. (3ft x3ft) Parking is in a parking garage a block away for $40 extra, luckily we were able to find street parking close to the door. Pets are $30 extra as well. No premium channels. No microwave in room, just a very tiny fridge.

Good value for money. The location is good if you are willing to walk but would recommend somewhere more north (e.g. Chinatown or North Beach) if you want to be super close to the touristy places. The staff were very friendly.

I found out after booking that the Union Square neighborhood has been rough in the last few years - definitely more homeless people here than in other parts of the city. I didn't have any major incidents but I was aware to not be out by myself in the dark.

The location was great! Close to Chinatown, close to cable cars. Staff were very polite and professional…looked after our needs. Social time happy-hour with free wine was lovely idea…even though we did not participate…quite a few guests did.

We were 2 people in a room, 2 chairs to sit and catch up our day would have been nice. We had only one office chair to sit. Breakfast was good…with real dishes and cutlery but coffee was served in disposable cups…only two days were we lucky early enough to have a real cup for the coffee. It would have been nice to have the restaurant that served breakfast serve a very light (soup and sandwich) dinner (at the guests expense)…after a day of exploring it is perfect to eat and go to our room.

I like how they have variations with breakfast as we stayed for 6 days and they try to vary. Also, the water infused with Cucumber etc was fantastic for guest who are thirsty. Lastly, we were Glad with receptionist Punya for giving complementary wine access and the lady who served drinks in the Bar from Mar 10-12 in the evening was very professional and really good. Location wise, it is really in downtown and near to public transpo.

at first we were thinking we were having itchy skin from bed bugs but that was a query only as we cannot verify this. probably only to ?dry skin however their beds and pillow are very soft and comfortable and nice. Just a suggestion for breakfast meal probably more variation and any option of vegetable? as healthy snacks aside from whole grains.

The location of the hotel was good, and the breakfast was better than expected. All together an enjoyable stay!

We booked through booking.com that advertises Parking. There is no parking! The hotel is in a busy part of The city which makes it ideal for getting around. The downside is there in no parking we were directed to a public car park which costs an extra 40 dollars a day. Booking.com needs to amend this as public car parks don’t count as parking.

This property is a little gem in a big city from check in to checkout. we were able to check in early and given a free drink at the bar/restaurant. room was clean with a/c. Front desk manager Vincent was excellent also had great suggestions on restaurants and very knowledgeable of the city! Hotel has a great little lobby with comfortable chairs and sofas and a great table to play cards or dominoes. Hotel also includes free breakfast every morning with eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, toast and fresh fruit. was a little different each day. Location was excellent within 1 block from Chinatown and 3 blocks from Union Square. lots of small interesting restaurants within walking distance.

only one elevator but it is an older hotel.

Spacious corner room with lots of windows. The bed was a bigger king size and very comfortable. Housekeeping every other day which was great for us. Friendly staff. The sports bar where they served breakfast was very nice. The best thing about the hotel is probably the location, you can easily walk to Chinatown, North Beach, Ferry Building, and to public transport (Bart station is only 10 min away).

The room was a bit noisy because it was facing the main street. They have a window type AC which is loud. We did not need to use it, because it was not hot. We needed to turn on the heater couple nights, it takes a long time for the heater to warm up the room. It would be nice to have another mirror in the room, there was just one in the bathroom.

- Literally 2 minute walk to Union Square, so pretty decent spot. The walk back is some hardcore uphill but you can alternatively take the 150 years old San Francisco cable car ($8) - The personnel is great. Every single one of them. Friendly, helpful, and caring. - Somehow I almost never heard other guests, even though I knew they are there.

- there were days when Wi-Fi worked. Most of the time, however, it was barely transmitting anything, and I didn't get mobile signal until getting out of the building either. - the breakfast isn't bad, but for a two week stay you may get fed up with the same eggs, bacon/sausage, oatmeal and muffin choice everyday :D - my god the streets are loud here and the windows do literally nothing to keep the noise outside
