The room was a good size and clean. The pool/spa area and the grounds around them were very nice and well-kept. Plenty of parking and a nice, central location near shopping, restaurants, etc.

The mattress, memory foam I believe, is in need of replacement. My wife's back was hurting very badly after sleeping on it for two nights. I don't have back issues, and MY back was hurting. The only other issue, and it wasn't too terrible most of the time, was the locked gates to the back parking lot of the property - they SLAM LOUDLY, and our room was right next to one. I completely understand the need for the locked gates and support it, but there needs to be some kind of soft-close gadget installed to keep them from slamming so loudly every time someone needs to come or go.

We asked for and received a quiet room. Carlos recommended a restaurant which was doing a booming business, and we had takeout. And, the best part, when I discovered I had left my Kindle in Santa Maria almost two weeks after our visit, I called and did not expect to learn they had my electronic reader (filed by date and room) and they insisted on sending it back to me at no cost (except for postage/shipping, of course.) I wanted to leave a "reward" but they insisted this was not something I should do. How nice to find such a kind man as Carlos at the front desk who sent back my Kindle which had been a Christmas gift. I will always remember him and Travelodge, Santa Maria, for this service.

Clean, spacious rooms with enough parking. Nice kept grounds, quiet surroundings during our stay, feels safe and secure. Friendly staff. Micro and fridge in room.

Weak cell phone connections, stayed on the bottom floor, can hear walking (sounds like stomping) from room above possibly due to wood type flooring, not carpet. Nice large breakfast room but no breakfast served, fruit and other types of grab and go options could be offered. Think outside the box.

It's close to everything that you need. The staff was great and very accommodating. The room was huge, with comfortable beds. There was a microwave, fridge, and coffee pot.

I was totally bummed that the hot tub wasn't working and we couldn't at least lounge by the pool. I booked an extra day just for that.

Huge room! Loved that it had a little meal table. Comfy bed. Great coffee station in the room, lots of channels on the TV. TV remote was flat so a great feature for sanitization! Lots of shower products to choose from. Great fluffy towels. Would definitely stay here again!

Walls a little on the thin side. We were below a room that partied until about 0330 in the morning, but sometimes that is how it is in a hotel. Shower head was really high and water pressure a little on the low side.

Staff was friendly. Everything was spotless clean. Hot tub and heated pool were amazing. They have a grill there to use. If you don't want to cook or go out there's an amazing taco truck parked right out front. It's within walking distance to shopping centers. The room was huge and a very comfortable bed. They have a great breakfast. The office has a little "convenience" shop that you could purchase various snacks and drinks. I will stay here from now on when I'm in Santa Maria.

Really wish I could knit pick, but I still couldn't find anything wrong with this place.

Room was clean, liked the manner in which soap, shampoo, conditioner were dispensed. Beds were very comfortable. Larger sized room with a table/2 chairs. Large TV. While didn't use it, there was an ironing board, iron and microwave.

In room coffee did not work well. The rooms could be a bit more soundproof. They were totally out of regular coffee when we left at 7:30 and the decaf was not working at all. So, we didn't have any coffee and because of COVID, no breakfast. It would be nice to have a grab/go meal as it doesn't seem the overall price of the room was lower because of no breakfast.

Almost immediately we noticed a family vibe in regard to other visitors, in no way felt like it was a "party hotel" instead rather welcoming. Centrally located and convenient, with a no hassle reservation, check in, and check out process. We thought the property seemed "fine" but nothing special and we didn't expect much from the look of the exterior. But, when we got to our room we really were impressed. It was very clean with complete and seemingly recent updates and we noted the tucked away fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. We thought the beds were comfortable and we loved that there was a window in the bathroom (2nd floor) so we could keep an eye on our vehicle parked below, just outside (unnecessary as we had zero safety issues).

The exterior is a little off-putting, not updated and modern as inside the rooms themselves, actually a little rough around the edges for a Wyndham hotel. A moderate amount of light through the curtains made the room a little too bright for sleeping in my opinion, walls are thin, and we felt outdoor celebratory noise levels weren't moderated as well as they could've been -we were abruptly awoken sometime around 1AM by multiple individuals (herd of cattle?) running past our room. =/

The location was great for what we wanted to do within the town. The shower was good and the hot water came through quickly. The swimming pool is heated and was open!

The only thing we didn't like was the people upstairs from sounded like they were herding cattle late into the night and very early the next morning, although this isn't the hotel's fault. Other than that there wasn't anything that we didn't like.

I like that the beds are actually clean! Beds are comfortable. The housekeepers actually clean very well. The housekeepers are nice. Taco truck in parking lot at night the last time we stayed and it was very authentic. Yummy. Pool is heated.

Due to covid-19 the property isn’t providing breakfast. Other places will offer a few people to enter the dining area to grab breakfast to go back to your room Or offer breakfast bags. So I can’t be disappointed in the facility I don’t understand Roku TV which is what is used in all there rooms.
