The property is no frills, but our room was great. Larger than expected, kitchen came with a little dining table, glassware and full fridge, fireplace and sound system was fun. Bedroom was roomy and place was clean. Great place to pre-function with friends and stay the night if you're going to Great American Melodrama.

Check in was awkward due to technical issues. We waited at desk a long time while computer re-booted etc. After 1/2 an hour they finally called management and said just give them the keys (we were already paid through booking.com and i had confirmation on phone.) Staff was very nice but not empowered to handle what could have been an easy situation.

I really enjoyed our little getaway! My fiancé and I stayed in a studio we wanted something small and simple because we wanted to stay near his family who was staying at the campground across the street from this resort, therefore we didn’t want anything too expensive but still really close to his family. And this resort was honestly our BEST decision yet!! we were sooo close to his family but we still had our privacy! It was so warm and cozy, very comfortable. Showers were so clean and bedding was just so neat and clean.

I will say that our studio had a door with access to the room next to us. My fiancé & myself kept it locked at ALL times. We didn’t even try opening it after realizing that it was the room next to us. I just feel like this was a lack of privacy because of how easily someone could just walk into the room beside them. My fiancé and I of course had NO intention of walking into someone else’s room, but just because we had that common sense doesn’t mean everyone else will have it too. I feel like those doors should just not be accessible at all unless rooms are booked to be connected. It didn’t feel right knowing my fiancé and I had that amount of access to someone else’s room.

Great location (just a few blocks from the beach). Cute little apartments with comfortable living room areas. Look at the photos carefully for the unit you choose, because each is quite different.

We had a minor maintenance issue in our unit that involved some miscommunication between the maintenance staff and the front office. It did not negatively affect our stay by much though. To be clear, those considering it should know that Oceano itself is a little rough at the edges - heavy on RV parks and camping and ATVs, light on things to do besides the beach. Those going to the Pismo area should be aware of that. It isn't a problem, just something that those unfamiliar with the area should be aware of.

Location near Oceano Beach was wonderful. Took walks to and from daily. Easy access to hwy 1, Grover, and Pismo Beaches. Comfortable and clean. No frills, which was fine. Ceiling fans offer comfort even in hot weather.

Needed a little more maintenance. The sink in the bathroom wouldn't drain. However, repair, when reported, was swift. A couple of table lamps weren't operable. Internet came and went and had a weak signal. Don't expect to work remotely if you go there.

The Pacific Plaza Resort was excellent, very clean from the kitchen to bathroom. The living room was very decorated nice the couch looked and felt new ,the recliner was very comfortable ( feel asleep a couple times) ,nice big screen tv , it had a built-in fire place . The bed room was roomy. Kitchen had a regular size refrigerator and was fully supplied with everything you needed.

The thing I could think of is the parking is a little tight .

Super convenient while still away from the highway for a one-night stop on a drive across the state. Units are individually owned so well maintained. Unique location. Very friendly and responsive front office. Arranged for a late check-in. Can't beat the location if you're into ATV's at the beach!

Some light from outdoor fixtures still got in around the curtain - couldn't block it out. Hubbie has a hard time sleeping when it's not perfectly dark. I didn't have any problems myself :).

We stayed here with two adults, two teenage kids and a baby. Had sufficient space to feel comfortable for 3 days, cook and have family time in the evenings. The features: Nice apartment with rather large bedroom with bathroom sink, shower and toilet in a separate bathroom Additional sleeping couch in the living room. Gas fireplace in the living room to have cozy evening hang out. Separate patio with table and two chairs. Kitchen corner, including gas stove, regular size fridge, sink, and cooking equipment - very convenient. Generally quiet hotel with own hot tub area. 5 min walking distance to beach, 2 min walking distance to a local beach store with food, beverages and bon fire equipment etc. Parking lot on property.

WiFi was very weak. Hot tub area was closed in the evening, however did not see any sign about closing/ opening hours. Coffee maker only works for coffee pouches - would be great to also have a regular filter coffee device for those who bring their own coffee ... important for some people.

The place was beautiful! The location was nice. I loved that it had a little kitchen and living room. It was also nice and private. We will definitely be back! 🙂

The linen, blankets, and towels did not have a clean smell to them even though they cleaned the room before we came. I don't think the oven worked because I turned it on, and it didn't get hot, plus it looked to clean, lol! Bed was a little lumpy,one side seemed like a hole, and the other side was firmer. Other than that, I loved it!

Location and price was excellent. The receptionist was friendly. The room size was perfect.

The decor was a bit dated and my wife thought it could be cleaned a little better. The bed and sofa were worn and not very comfortable.

Overall we had a very good stay, it was clean, great location, easy check-in/out, and helpful staff.

Onsite laundry requires a minimum payment for $10 to register for some app and then $2 per load. But $8 will be wasted when doing a single load. Our unit only had scratched up Teflon pots, which are not up to our standards for safe cooking.
