Very nice hostel in the heart of Venice Beach with a walkable distance to Santa Monica Pier. The hostel had a free little breakfast including bagels, cream cheese and juice. We had a private room with a shared bathroom. Plenty of bathrooms/showers always available and clean. Definitely value for money! The WiFi did reach into the rooms.

The hostel had no lift, and the reception is at the first floor, so you need to carry your luggage up the stairs.

Perfect location in Venice beach in front of the ocean, I felt very safe to be a solo girl in a mixed dormitory and met so much nice people. The staff was very friendly and also they give you towels for shower and for the beach which it’s so helpful. Nice bars and clubs in the area

During the night you can hear the music of the club even if you wear earplugs

Loved that the hostel is within walking distance of the Venice Beach area, skatepark and workout area which were some of the main reasons I really wanted to stay at this location. My stay was during Thanksgiving holiday week, so was not as crowded even though it can be a high traffic area. What really made my experience great here were the awesome fellow hostel people I befriended and explored the beach and L.A. area with, good times! Staff were also available to communicate with and accommodating.

The mixed-dorm style room I stayed in didn't have a place to hang bath towels or coats which I think would be helpful. Lockers also may need some maintenance to keep doors from jamming. Breakfast was basic (instant coffee / tea, toast and small oranges) but honestly for the price to stay it's not really an issue.

Right on venice beach, can't beat that. Great views from the room. The staff was AMAZING! Front desk folks were so awesome and friendly and helpful I wanted to hug them.

There was nothing I didn't like. But an ice machine would have made it better. And I'll probably bring my own tea next time because the tea was really bland. (not very strong) The coffee would have been better brewed (I hate instant) but I also think cleaning and refilling that would make a total mess in that little kitchen so I get the instant. One piggy roommate left a mess in the bathroom but she only stayed one night and you can't help that. Most of the roommates were great. The staff kept everything clean as a whistle. Much appreciated.

The location was excellent, right by the Venice Beach, within 2 min by walk. They had a kitchen with a microwave, fridge, cutlery, bowls, plates, toasters and a toaster oven, and also a lounge with tables and a sofa. The staff were very very friendly and always available. Overall it is a pretty good value with this location and this price.

It felt like a college dorm, we had a private bedroom for 2, the room was not super large and did not have a private bathroom(the shared bathroom and shower room are clean though), it was not very quiet but it did not bother us a lot.

The location is as good as it gets. The common are is nice as well and has a lovely view from the window.

Although the hostal is good, I think it could use some upgrades. If the person above in the bunkbed moved, everything moved. The mattress made noises (maybe its folded in plastic(?), and the lockers are too small, and you need a big lock (my smaller lock didn't work). My dorm had a private bathroon, but the door literally didn't close, so everytime I tried to have privacy, I had to move the trashcan towards the door to keep it semi closed.

Perfect the people are so nice and friendly there and specialy Blue he was ammmmazing thats why i loved tht place he is so kind helpful and full of positive energy it was my first time in a hostel so he told me tht u will love it trust me and trust me guys i did enjoyed i met a really nice people from all over the word! 😍 if u guys lucky enough to have blue to check u in u gonna like ur stay from the first step Thank u Blue and the nice ladies who everytime make everything clean and special with the smile thank for the team🩵🩵

The location is perfect, right next to the most attractive part of Venice Beach. The shared bathrooms are clean and there are plenty of them. There is a kitchen available for use, with a fridge where you can store your items, which you should label with your name and room number.

We booked a four-bed room that shares a bathroom. What really bothered us was the very unpleasant smell in the room, which was not present in the rest of the hostel or other rooms. As for the room itself, it's great and even has a sink for brushing teeth or washing hands.

It was right on the sea front so when we opened the curtains we could see the sea! 2 minutes walk and you were on the boardwalk with all the restaurants and bars. There are many bike rental places nearby so you can bike down to the pier. The car park is next door to the hotel and costs about £20 over night. Didnt use the group facilities nor have the breakfast as wanted to go and experience an American diner!

Pulling our suitcases up the flights of stairs was difficult and you couldn't really leave anything at the bottom of the stairs to do multiple trips - you had to take it all at once.
