The Oxford exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect. The hotel is historic and beautiful and our room was gorgeous with a fireplace, ornamental mantle and a writing desk. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed brunch at the Urban Farmer and a few nightcaps in the Cruise Room— amazing vibe. The nightly complimentary whiskey tasting was unique and delicious. The Oxford Club offers a fantastic sauna in the locker room, and my massage was fantastic. I can’t wait to stay here again!

All that I lacked was a mini fridge, but I packed a cooler and they brought ice as often as needed. The AC didn’t get down as frigid as i usually like it, but it wasn’t bad.

Staff was great and super friendly. Upgraded our room upon arrival and very accommodating for early check in. Loved the history of the hotel, the room, very comfortable bed, enjoyed the happy hour at Urban Farmer (restaurant in the hotel), and quaint grab and go breakfast snacks (a pastry, fruit, and charcuterie board - enough to hold us over for an early lunch but not a full breakfast). The location is prime - easy to get to everything we needed.

No room service or places nearby that are open late (we were there for a concert at Red Rocks amphitheater). And each morning there was a loud clunking type noise maybe related to the water/person above taking a shower? Older hotel so expect a few noises.

We loved our 4 night stay at the Oxford. The staff was so kind and the hotel is beautiful. Some bonuses: The speakeasy bar in the hotel. The bourbon tasting in the afternoon. The size of the room. The spa next door. The location!!! Some negatives: The air conditioning was nonexistent--we had to open windows at night, thus hearing nightlife noise. The breakfast is extremely limited--we ended up eating at a cafe next door. In general, the hotel is very expensive--especially parking. I would stay there again, however, because of the location, hotel atmosphere and the staff. But I would never stay in the summer time as the air conditioning is poor and--I would not bring a car to park.

The staff was definitely the bright spot of the Oxford Hotel, especially Stewart, the Bellman, who was so helpful in all things LoDo. Everyone makes you feel welcome from the time you step into the lobby. The location was perfect, especially if you need to take the train, do a little shopping, walk to Larimer Square or attend a Rockies baseball game or a concert or game at Ball Arena. Continental breakfast buffet was perfect. And we enjoyed dining at the Urban Farmer.

Staying in an historic hotel, you are not going to get a large bathroom, closet, etc. Furniture is arranged to accommodate the room. The shower reminded me of those in Europe--very, very small. Sink in bathroom was tiny. Closet was so small, we had to remove the large ironing board to get our clothes in. And what made us laugh is we had to unscrew one of the bottom posts of the four-post bed to see the TV. The biggest complaint is that the coffee in the morning was always luke warm--had to go next door coffee shop for a hot cup. And, beware, along with all of the other fees, they charge a "historic preservation" fee. Having said all of that, we very much enjoyed our stay, and definitely plan to come back.

This historic hotel was beyond charming. The staff was exceptionally receptive and helpful. They have a simple but elegant breakfast and something each evening in the lobby. The location is perfect and the hotel is accessible via train from the airport.

I can't think of anything I didn't like at the hotel. The only comment my husband had was that the sink was very small. Also there are homeless in the area but this is no fault of the hotel. It is a problem many cities face. The doormen were always on duty.

I was in Denver for work and booked my stay at the last minute through Booking.com. When I arrived to the hotel I was told the reservation hadn't gone through because it takes a day or two to process and the hotel was at capacity due to a large event in town. Nonetheless, the hotel finagled a room and honored the reservation, and I am deeply appreciative of the staff who worked hard to accommodate me! Beautiful building and rooms, wonderful relaxing lobby, and beyond exceptional staff. I stayed here because it was the only option I could find, but I will absolutely stay here again. I definitely want to check out the spa next time.

The sliders at the restaurant were "meh." No other complaints.

Great service and nice staff. The bourbon tastings in the evening were great and a good excuse to talk to others staying at the hotel. Having a ride service was awesome and helpful. Love the Cruise Room and the bartender there! She had great recommendations and is very good at her craft.

The parking situation isn't my favorite. 50 bucks a night. I don't recall seeing this clearly stated in my booking process. The TV could stand to be updated with streaming services. Felt like I had to tip everyone there even after paying almost a grand for 2 nights. Lots of tip jars out and valet would linger, so I felt obligated. Seems the hotel should pay their staff better.

The excellent staff and the historic building. Room size was generous for a typical city hotel. The location was also a plus. I was unable to take advantage of some of the extra services, e.g., the spa, etc., but appreciate that these services are available.

The rather exorbitant parking fee per day (twice as much as I pay in, e.g., Philadelphia), and the cost for the room, which exceeded by several hundred dollars the costs for a room of comparable quality in some of New York City's hotels.

Gorgeous hotel with vintage details, everyone on staff that we interacted with was friendly, helpful, efficient and kind. Our room was clean and beautiful and I loved the vintage style of everything. Bed was very comfortable as well.

The only minor issue we had, and it was not the fault of the hotel necessarily, was that it was noisy outside at night and you could definitely hear it thru the windows even when they were closed. It was worth it to be downtown, but something to note for light sleepers.

The location is very central which was very convenient. The front desk / concierge was helpful and attentive. The bathroom was a little small and the furniture in the room was a bit eclectic, which can be quite charming, however in this case it felt a bit dated. Overall the experience was positive and we would consider returning to this location should we ever visit Denver again.

The bathroom was a bit small and the furniture in the room felt a bit dated.
