Husband and I stayed in a room with a private bathroom. It was a tight fit with two people but fine for two nights and very clean. Loved the overall atmosphere of the bar and kitchen area. I like being able to make my own breakfast and snacks at my leisure. Plenty of spaces to hang out with people or relax outside of your room separately. The gear storage room was great as well.

I didn’t use the hot tub bc it had scum marks rimmed around the sides. Given how many people are there, I wonder how frequently they test and treat or change the water. Also, plugs by the bed would be nice instead of having to charge our items on the floor where the plug was. PARKING is a bit of a problem. Keep your car in the lot once you find a spot or you’ll have to walk about 10 min to their overflow lot. Just be prepared to do that because chances are, you’ll have to.

There was lots of free coffee with loads of choice of creamers and milks! Didn't see any food options but wasn't expecting any. Also, kitchen was well stocked and very clean with all the necessary utensils/appliances and more. Amazing bar, very friendly and helpful staff, super fast wifi and great working spaces, lovely hot tub on the balcony and wonderful yoga class on saturday morning with free coffee and kombucha/prosecco - definitely worth it to start off a peaceful weekend. The reception gave us recommendations for hikes/nearby facilities and were super helpful when we wanted to change room for the second night.

Bear in mind that most of the small double rooms are without windows, but we were able to switch on the second night for one with windows and honestly the lighting in the windowless room was very cosy so not a huge problem, and the common areas are very nice and open. Pillows are very thick (beware!)

The atmosphere, the mattresses, the kitchen, the staff everything was amazing! They have group events each night you can join in on it you can just go to bed. They have a hot tub everything is pretty awesome

The toilet paper. They use the cheapest toilet paper. That’s not cool that’s not a hotel thing to do. No one should use that John Wayne toilet paper. It actually takes about 5 times as much as regular toilet paper so I’m thinking you don’t actually have any cost saving there. Just in happy rumps!

A great hostel! The rooms are comfortable and clean, bathrooms are also clean and modern. The bar is a great spot to meet other travellers or even some locals with multiple other areas to sit and relax if you're not feeling as social. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of snowboarding! The bus stop is within walking distance and will take you to the ski resorts, too. I had a slight mishap with my check in but that was rectified and I can safely say I would recommend The Pad and will definitely stay next time I visit.

We stayed in a private queen room, and we really enjoyed our stay! The staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in and check out. The room was very clean and had a mini fridge, glasses, a hair dryer, etc. It was in a convenient location near several shopping centers in Silverthorne with great views!

Although I'm sure it would be incredibly challenging (maybe not even possible) to add more parking on site, the additional parking is rather far away when walking at night in winter. It is a few blocks away and the 7 minute walk on a 4 degree night is not ideal. Just something to note and plan for if you are staying there!

Most Unique hostel I've ever stayed at and my first hostel stay, will definitely come back! If anyone is looking for a stay either for skiing, mountain biking or exploring towns in CO, this is definitely the place. No other hostel or hotel Iv'e stay has a shared kitchen for guests, if you want to save a few bucks for breakfast or lunch or dinner this is place will have everything you'd need. Forgot plates? They have those, you just need to clean after use. The cleanliness of the place is pristine clean, the hot jacuzzi was unforgettable. From all the hotels I have ever stay at this one tops the list of being the best of the best! This excelled my expectations, before, I had been looking where to stay, but the other hotels had nothing to the experience you will have here. The money is worth the spend here, and if you want to make a friends trip in the rockies this one will save you a lot. Thank you The PAD for making my spring trip the most amazing one yet!

Nothing, it was a perfect stay. There was nothing negative to say about the place, everything meet my expectations. This place is the best hotel/hostel I've ever stayed at amazing affordable prices. Wow!

It is a fun place to stay especially if you’re young and single. The communal spaces are designed for mingling. I really enjoyed the rooftop hot tub with great views after a day of skiing.

The room was so cold the first night even with all my clothes on and the heat cranked up, I went to the front desk at 3 am for some help. The night clerk was no help at all and acted like we were bothering her. But the next morning when the shift changed, we were able to get a space heater and the next night was much better.

The concept of the place is fantastic. Had a private room that slept my family of 4 quite comfortably. Shared bathroom facilities were fine, common space was great, having a cocktail lounge and communal kitchen made the stay really nice. Staff was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub a big plus, games and puzzles available was a nice touch.

Liked that you needed an access key to get to the wing of building where our room was, but the door opening and closing late at night and early in the morning made it a bit noisy and hard to sleep. If they could install some kind of device that would make the door not slam, or that would dampen that sound, the place would have been perfect.

The free coffee was tasty. The shared kitchen facilities are great. Staff very friendly and helpful. I shared a Queen room with a friend on a weekend ski trip. The room had a Queen bed pushed up against the wall and a sofa/tv area. The Sofa opened to a full bed for my friend. Extra bedding was provided.

Be warned the parking lot fills fast and the overflow parking is more than a 5 min walk away. Hard on a cold morning or evenign after skiing all day to walk back and forth.

Comfortable and stylish big room Coffee / Tea available in the morning Close to a nice walk along the river Really nice bar Even though there were group dormitories as well, it had none of the trashy hostel feeling. The kitchen available for guests was spacious, well equipped and pretty clean. The hotel features a lot of events

Breakfast options would have made it perfect :)
