The room was a good size. It was comfortable. The decor was appealing aw well. Breakfast had a nice selection of items. Front desk staff very personable and friendly. Easy check in and check out.

Having one more towel and two more wash cloths. I was able to get a towel from the front desk (I was actually given several, which was nice, but there were no wash cloths that could be located. We used the longer hand towels like a wash cloth. It worked, but wash cloths would have been better.

Every member of the staff we came across was engaging, professional and helpful. The room and common areas were immaculate. Our expectations were exceeded.

Healthier choices for the after hours food selection.

Very large room...but very, very! Clean, comfortable. Good breakfast. Excellent.

The TV was not installed in the wall mount, but just sitting on on the desk looking like it could fall any time my kids moved around it (and I would get the blame). Someone slipped my bill below the door at 2-3am and woke me up; I wish I was asked if I wanted it delivered that way.

The property was clean and the staff was friendly. Upon check in we were immediately greeted. The check in process was quick. The room was clean. The location was only about 10 min from New Haven so we could sight see while staying in a quiet area. We travelled w our 18 & 20 year old sons and they, as well as us approved of the breakfast 🙂 They offered two kinds of eggs, potatoes, and 2 kinds of sausage. There was also cereal, toast and a variety of pastries.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but it looks like a nice setup.

We had to move to a new room because the safe was broken in our initial room. It would have been good to know that before we moved in the first time, since we did need use of one. But the reception desk employee was very nice and quick to help us make the switch.

excellent breakfast - omelettes, hard boiled eggs, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, make your own pancakes, cereal, coffee/tea, assorted pastries, muffins, bagels, yogurt… a bit if something for everybody. Very clean, room was larger than expected. super friendly staff at checkin and very attentive staff at breakfast

Wonderful location, quiet neighborhood but close enough to a variety of restaurants in the area. Close to highways. Plenty of parking. Great hot breakfast! Nice and friendly Morning hotel staff. Friendly housekeeping staff.

Afternoon hotel front desk clerk somewhat inattentive. Other hotel staff a bit tentative in greeting back when I greeted them. Wished all hotel staff were friendlier and more helpful.

I will say the room was spacious, comfortable, and had PLENTY of options for lighting 😉 . The room felt/looked clean and up-kept. There was plenty of room and the bathroom was nice sized . Had cool full sized bottles of shampoo's/etc. A nice little fridge and microwave. It also had its own section of a full length mirror which was my favorite part of all. Oh and the breakfast was so many more options than I expected. The food was pretty good, and the orange juice tasted just right. They had lots of muffins the had a steamer for oatmeal ! Two choices of cooked eggs (scrambled/omelet) sausage links or patties. Bagels/breads also a toaster !!

I dont think there are doors leading to the side parking lots? The guide was scrolling on the tv screen and it was either press the channel up or channel down button. Couldn't actually look at the guide unless I missed that part somewhere down the line. The checkout time was 11 AM. And the housekeeper knocked on the door 2 times in a short period spam. Well before 11 AM... so we couldn't even enjoy the last couple of morning hours there together.

We were having a bad snow storm so we booked the Holiday Inn Express in Branford New Haven Connecticut And WOW From the moment we walked in the door to the day we checked out everyone was so kind and helpful We had booked one night but mother nature had other plans. While we were having the excellent breakfast The manager came into the dining area and spoke to everyone so positive such wonderful energy He booked us for a second night so we didn't have to drive in the storm Can't say enough about this

Honestly nothing

The hotel manager was exceptional. I think his name was Brad or Brand or Brian (7/29-7/31). Friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean. The free breakfast was an amazing perk and offered a lot of options. Close to I-95. Getting extra towels and toilet paper was no problem.

We had no complaints really. I guess it could use an additional elevator though!
