The cleanliness of the room was immaculate...it actually smelled clean when you walked in. The customer service was amazing. I left something in the room and they went out of their way to search for it and even mail it back to me. It was right on the main strip surrounded by restaurants and a 3 minute drive to Wesleyan. I will stay here every time I come to Middletown.

The beds were very firm which some people love, it's just not my favorite and the restaurant downstairs was impressively slow but the food was decent.

It was in a convenient area in town, right next to Wesleyan University and all its stellar night life, and it was so clean. It has everything a chain hotel would have, except it was more reasonably priced and had a much more homey flair. It was a cozy place to rest, but not in the middle of nowhere.

It was a smidge difficult to navigate how to get my Lyfts to pull up at the front door. I resorted to telling them to just drop me off on the other side of the street so that I could cross.

Place looks great, room was clean and comfort

Service at the hotel restaurant was unpleasant. We were not greeted upon arrival and had to ask to be treated. Furthermore, when we were finally treated we had the menus tossed upon the table by the hostess with such a disregard and disrespect that we got a feeling of "wish you were not here". So we decided to leave immediately afterwards. I must say that the general manager got back to us and addressed the issue above very well to our best satisfaction. Thank you ! We Appreciate it a lot !

Good location, good sized room, friendly staff. Quiet.

I’ve wanted to stay at this hotel for years and finally did so. As comfortable as it was, the price is much too high for what you get. I would expect at least real mugs for coffee, bottles of water in the room and a complimentary breakfast.

To a person everyone was super helpful, responsive and kind. you felt like you were staying at a friend's house. their advice was on point about everything--where to eat, etc. free parking on site and available on the street the beds were extremely comfortable , wonderful crisp sheets and perfect weigh duvet can't beat the location if you have business in town or at the university

our restaurant breakfast was very expensive ( for what it was) and just not well prepared. Everything was overcooked, underseasoned and/or the quality of ingredients just didn't justify the price. we never went back. they might do better with a self serve buffet like a Hampton Inn abd/or include a modest buffet in the room rate. it felt like a rip off re: the overall price" the rooms are dated. the HVAC units are noisy and hard to regulate, they belong in a Holiday Inn. it just isn't the level of comfort you expect at the price point. also, Covid isn't over but other places have brought back daily housekeeping so why hasn't this property? seems like profit taking

Location was great as we needed to be near Goodspeed and a downtown area. Plenty of places to eat outside of the hotel. Personnel at hotel were lovely.

Room had no supplies…no toiletries, no hand soap, insufficient coffee for a room with two occupants. Also, plastic cups seemed very cheap for such a nice place…glasses/mugs would have been better.

Love the elegant quaint hotel right in the center of Middletown. Got a great price!

Parking was confusing. It was difficult to get answers from the hotel about parking because I was redirected to another agency that was covering the phones. My husband is handicap and didn't like the parking was a long walk for him.

The waitress for dinner was excellent - very friendly and accommodating. Both dinner and breakfast were very good with a nice selection.

The parking. No real good place to park and unload luggage. Parking was available behind the inn, but the rear entrance was not ideal.

Exceptionally charming and wonderful staff. The Tavern offers good food and charming atmosphere. Great location.

Only thing that I did not like was the view from our room. The window overlooked the trash area for the building next to the hotel.
