A hidden gem! Not much to look at from the outside, older motel that has been completely remodeled and updated. Room was so clean that I thought the glass table was missing the glass! Bathroom clean, fresh, and all new. Bed comfy and new linens. Owner seems to take great pride in his business. We would stay there again!

They look like they are working on the outside to make it a little more inviting, which is good.

This is an older motel that has been updated and then kept up nicely. The room was clean and quiet, the air was cold, the location was perfect. Parking our car right outside our door was so convenient. No complaints from us at all. We love to visit the area for a beach day now and again and will DEFINITLEY be back.

Nothing to add here. We liked everything. It was exactly what we expected and we were not disappointed.

For an old style motel that has been upgraded and remodeled the king size bed was perfect, a shower with just the right amount of water pressure, and an actual couch (love seat) in the room added to the luxury. Flat screen TV with cable gave us all we needed. Didn't use the WiFi, but it was available.

The outside of the motel seemed a little sketchy. A plastic stacking type chair outside each room, and the outside landscaping made it look like a motel I would not have stayed at if I had not booked the motel stay in advance and new what the amenities were from the start. You definitely can't judge a book by it's cover and I'm glad we booked in advance but had I not booked I probably would have stayed at the Best Western in town and passed on this Apalachicola Bay Inn merely because of the landscaping and the look while driving on US 98 and coming into the town.

The location was perfect and the rates were very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. Hot water and water pressure in the shower was a plus. Very cold AC. Check in and check out was quick and easy and he was super friendly.

Not really a big deal but the bath towels were very tiny. I'm not a very big person but they just fit around me.

Very very clean and although obviously old it had updated in important ways like lots of outlets for devices. Bed was very comfortable and shower had lots of hot water and great flow.

television did not eork well with remote.

No Breakfast but the rooms were good. We mostly just slept there we were very busy visiting family most of the time.

It was what I expected. It was fine. Could use better comforters on the beds though. They were very thin

No food was served. There was coffee. Our room was clean and handicapped accessible. We are not handicapped but the architecture and design of handicap accessible spaces are appraciated.

The Inn was great. Apalachicola and surrounding area was disappointing. Not much to do. No beach access.

We arrived late, after 10 pm, and the owner met us to check us in. He was such a friendly, kind man, and you can tell he has a lot of pride in this hotel. The rooms were super clean. We will definitely be back!

there was no breakfast

toilet could have been better and evening staff allowed a patron with a truck and flatbed to take 3 spaces in front of our room which made us park on the other side of the parking lot. the morning staff said they would address the situation with the patron

We always enjoy our stay here! The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean, and location is great.

There's a tight squeeze for parking when the big trucks with big boats are there.
