Great road stop, easy access to local sights. If you are looking for a beachside resort, this isn’t the place. But it is a great road stop while traveling: good value with easy access to major highways and close enough to drive to beaches, restaurants and attractions. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms in our rooms were well equipped for elderly travelers with mobility issues (note that ours had tubs, not walk-in showers). There is a pool in the center courtyard (which we did not use during our stay). One nice part of our stay was the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast room was carefully maintained and stocked by Todd, who made sure that everything was fresh and everyone was taken care of. (Oddly, although Todd was noticeably attentive to everyone, we saw few travelers actually tip him—just a reminder to those who forget their manners because there is no actual bill😊).

The only down side to our stay was that all of the rooms have sliding glass doors to the outside. That is great for those that face the pool, but not so much for those of us whose rooms faced the parking lot. The large expanse of glass and flimsy lock made for a bit of (probably unwarranted) unease during the night. We would stay there again but would request an inner room.

There was no elevator so heavy luggage had to be carried up stairs. The breakfast was very good and kept nicely supplied. This is walkable to the ballpark and a few eateries. Housekeeping every 3 days but the girls were very nice and asked if there was anything we needed and checked to be sure the room was clean for us. Beds were very comfortable too.

Its on a busy road and we couldn't find a place at the pool, but that was ok. Help should be automaticallly called for heavy suitcases to be brought upstairs.

Friendly workers

Our room was not ready at 3:00 pm but 4:00 pm. After driving from Miami that one hour seemed like for ever. I heard the women at the front desk say they had a hard time getting people to leave. If I paid for a room to start at 3:00 it should be ready.

In general everything was good.

We found a lot of bugs in our room...everything else was good. But they need to clean more or do something about the bugs.

1st floor, courtyard, poolside, hot breakfast, easy access from service road.

Tampa area is just too crowded, crazy drivers from every state are here. Hate the forever traffic signals.

I had asked for good access to our room as my son has special needs. We were out on the first floor courtyard access! It was perfect for our family! As a single mom it let my one child use the pool while I was able to keep an eye on both kids, one swimming one in the room! We loved the gazebo as it gave shade early in the day and the pool gets shaded by 7 so if like us you get burned in Florida you can still enjoy the pool before night! Staff was friendly and made sure my request was filled! Loved our time there and we want to come back!!! Easy access to many things to enjoy in Clearwater.

There was knots of hair all over the pool rope. Found one one the floor in the sink area. Other than that the room was clean.

First of all, I would like to start with the fact that it was one of the cleanest hotels that we have ever entered, both the outdoor area was cleaned every day, the pool, the hotel, the corridors! Already the first day was perfect, Kim at the reception checked us in and she asked us several times during the stay how we were doing if we had everything if it was ok it was just perfect but also all the other employees from the hotel. The absolute highlight was the good breakfast the next day as well, so you are not used to it from the USA and we have often been to the USA on vacation but here they really make sure that everything is regularly refilled here people are totally standing nice and greeting. Breakfast is great, there are cold and warm dishes, the fruit bowl is filled.

The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a room on the first floor with a patio facing the pool so it was wonderful sitting out there with our morning coffee. The breakfast offered every morning was very good and included in the price of the room. From the moment we arrived, Dan at the front desk made us feel welcome and the rest of the staff were always friendly and helpful! This hotel is in a good location, close to shopping, restaurants and beaches. We will stay there again when we're in the Clearwater area!

The only thing I could suggest is spreading new mulch in the areas around the hotel and in front of the patios.

The best part of my stay was the lady at reception when I checked in, Patricia. She was super friendly, helpful, professional and extremely sweet. Her personality and interest made me feel at home immediately. Patricia is a great asset to your hotel! I was also very impressed with the room amenities and especially the breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely make it my first choice the next time I travel to Clearwater.

I wish that there was an ice machine on the second floor of the building. I also was a bit bothered at seeing that people who were obviously staying at the property next door were utilizing the breakfast facilities of La Quinta. If there is some sort of agreement or partnership with the hotels, no problem, but I'm not sure what the situation was.

I LOVED THE PROPERTY. All the staffs were so helpful and patient. I asked to have a refill on toiletries and direction to the laundry room and they would patiently instruct me every time. We had a hard time finding the room and the receptionist had somebody walk us to our room.

Nothing really. Everything was amazing!!
