We are a young couple with younger children (7yr & 2yrs) we were on the ocean view side next to the restaurant the noise didn’t bother us or the kids however someone looking for something a little less chaotic and quiet I would recommend requesting the other side of the hotel. Hotel is in the no drive area of the beach which was phenomenal!!! Pool was clean and pool deck chairs were functional

Breakfast wasn’t the best. The elevator situation was horrible they have two elevators with 8 floors and sometimes we stood there waiting for 10+ min. The employee at the desk was working their tail off but they definitely could use more than one person up there. I waited for 20+min to get plates after ordering pizza because so many were coming in to check in. The bar had BOGO on drinks and the drinks were good but could not mix and match which was wild to me.

The hotel staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. We liked that it had breakfast and a small bar. Pool was nice although we did not use it. The room was clean and nicely decorated. We had an ocean front room with a balcony.

There was no computer or printer available which seemed odd since lots of people travel by plane and need to print out their boarding passes. I had to have the desk clerk do this for me but I would have preferred to do it myself. The steps down to the beach from the pool area were convenient but not safe as the last step was too high from the base. The breakfast staff did not appear to be helpful and never smiled. The girl appeared pissed off that I asked for the orange juice to be refilled. Making sure everything is filled properly is their job isn't it?

Location was great, it was very clean, staff was very nice and helpful. The parking charge would be the only thing that would keep me from staying here again $15 per night is ridiculous.

Paying for parking. You have already paid to stay there where else are you supposed to park. It is ridiculous to have to pay for parking there. And it took 2 days for the pre auth to fall off my card after check out, even after the charge had hit my account. The charge is $15 per day it was over $75 more added to room cost.

We traveled to Daytona during Hurricane Helene. Our stay here was very good considering we were evacuating our home town for a storm and wasn't to sure of what we were going to come home to. The bathroom was big enough, the view from the balcony was AWESOME, the beds were comfy, and overall it was worth the money and the stay. Good, easy, convenient location as well.

If I wanted to be picky and have something to fuss about then it would be the sand on the floors of the room(room could have been swept better and maybe even a good mopping wouldn't have hurt), the ice machines were on every other level which was a lil frustrating (needs an ice machine on every level to be more convenient), and I am a BIG coffee drinker so and the coffee for continental breakfast tasted burnt or severely too strong every morning and the sausage links could have also been cooked a little longer(just my opinion as for someone who has been in a family restaurant business and atmosphere all their life).

Little to cramped up not much space for cars and too many really.

Was disappointed that we had to pay for parking had just spent a few days at Tropical Winds down the road. We had a stove, big refrigerator ocean view balcony. In fact we plan on going back soon. Cheaper also !! Plus I made a mistake on the reservation day and called booking com and they wanted to charge me 91$ just to switch one night then we were hit with the parking fee at the front desk no thank you !! Told booking dot com to shove it !! So I doubt we will come back to Comfort Inn !! Oh yes after I messed up on the reservation Tropical Winds let us stay another night for a pretty good price so I will now sing there praises !! The staff at Comfort were top notch but Tropical Winds got our vote !! Plus didn’t charge for parking !!! Yay !!!

Clean, large room, beautiful view of the beach, excellent location 5 minute drive to downtown with nice shops and restaurants.

When we got home we checked our hotel bill and we’re surprised that we were charged 17.99 for on-site parking. We checked our Booking.com reservation and it said that the amenities included were breakfast and onsite parking. We called the hotel and told the desk clerk about this and she said it was the fault of Booking.com and we should advise them. When I told her that this was the hotels error, she said that other guests complained about this and they told Booking.com, but they never did correct it. When I said I would write a critical evaluation of this she said the hotel manager would call me and work something out to my satisfaction The hotel manager Never contacted me. I am very disappointed in the misrepresentation of this hotels actual costs. I feel cheated.

The location is good because it's close to the beach and the access is amazing, the breakfast was good with limit varieties but in general is much better than my last experience with other hotel, location, parking and access is very good.

The bathroom condition is average, the shower doesn't work very well using curtain because stand shower is better with whole glass door, the sink was cracked, it's working and doesn't leak but the bowl is cracked, the bathroom door looks a bit deteriored and the lock doesn't work, the door is painted but look with damage and thinking about we are a family the lock doesn't matter.

Spectacular ocean front view from our balcony. We enjoyed this very much! We also enjoyed the upper deck patio with umbrella tables. We spent a good amount of time on this deck enjoying the beautiful views of the beach. The proximity to the restaurant and bar with entertainment was also a nice tough. It was within easy walking distance to the pier and boardwalk. The employees at this hotel were very friendly and all made us feel welcome and wanted. Although crowded at times we were always able to find a parking spot.

There were a couple of negatives for our stay. The first was the inadequacy and awkwardness of the elevators. The sign said occupancy was 2 or a family. This was never followed and many would try and cram into them. Better signage for stairways is needed. The only other problem was temperature regulation for the breakfast area. As it receives the morning sun it becomes uncomfortable warm as the windows/shades are inadequate for the direct heat of sun.

The hotel looks very basic from the outside and give a motel feel especially in the right side wing but inside the rooms are perfect. They are very generously spacious and the view is just stunning. Most importantly and very surprisingly the rooms were soundproof, which unfortunately we have noticed many big brand hotel rooms are not

If we do have to ask one thing, that would be the pillow quality. That was way overly fluffy which was not to my preference and did caused me a bit discomfort but that I often have to deal with most hotels.

breakfast was good. Just wish they would fill things up more frequently. Alot of stuff was out b3fore we got there ans they didn't refill it.

My room door was not working 3 times we had to have maintenance come fix it it was not the card it was locking thing on the door. Made me feel like if we left our room we would get locked out again and have to wait longer to get back in. I feel they should have moved us or some kinda inconvenience fee should been given back. Because we change a few of our plans because we didn't want to get locked out of the room we paid for.
