The manager, Oliver, was absolutely incredible! He was extremely accommodating for us. The property is cute, quaint, and quiet and like stepping back to simpler times.

The communication was not that great between some of the staff. There was confusion about room numbers but we got it figured out.

Ocean Mile exceeded our expectations. The best things about the property are: 1. Location-within walking distance to anything & everything. The beach access is literally a 3 minute walk, grocery/liquor store 5 minutes walk. 2. Overall value- this is a very budget friendly motel. It has everything you need to enjoy a beach vacation without the beach hotel costs. 3. Oliver--He is the man. He's a Jack of all trades, he mingles with guests and calls you by name. Just having him there and so attentive to everyone's needs & wants is amazing. You definitely wouldn't find an "Oliver" anywhere else. 4. The pool area is amazing. Very clean, plenty of seating & loungers. Shade from all the vegetation, and a great sound system. The playlist will meet anyone's music tastes.

The location of our room was not the best, it had noise from the ice maker, cleaning staff & elevator. There was 1 staff member who was not super friendly and he would shut the pool down early or act annoyed when we needed ice from the machine. The only other thing was the a/c barely kept up, but it was also brutally hot during our stay.

Oliver was the best he was very accommodating to our very needs. We were not familiar with the area and he assisted us everytime. He made sure we had clean towels everyday and was not every complaining about going the extra mile. The maids made sure the rooms were kept clean. I would recommend this resort

The only thing I didn't like was the ac needed to be upgraded other than that our stay was amazing. We had two rooms both fully furnished which was convenient for us because we traveled with kids as well

The Ocean Mile is an OLD FLORIDA MOM & POP Hotel you just don't see Around Anymore So DON'T EXPECT A ROBOT TO TURN DOWN YOUR BED OR MAKE YOU BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING. Even The Rates are Old Florida. Very Relaxing Pool Area, Well Maintained with Plenty of Plant & Tree Foliage around it you'd think you were in a Jungle. I Requested a Ground Floor Room & Received it without any Questioning.. Oliver one of the owners was out EVERYDAY Cleaning, Watering Plants, Organizing the Pool Area for Your Comfortable Stay. You want to go Back to The Old Florida Feel & Style of Florida. Try the Ocean Mile.

the signs said when the pool closed but the guy at the front came In about a half hour prior asking if I knew when it closed…I said yes it’s on the sign….he said guess again it’s about ten minutes before?? if you have to close it for a reason, okay? but don’t say it like that when it’s clearly on the sign….the way he said it was not right and it was closed why? because he wanted to leave early?

I enjoyed the location of the hotel and that it had a small kitchenette. The beds were comfortable, good shower pressure and it was quiet. Having free parking was great. Also, the staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Let me first say that I would stay here again; however, it is an old hotel that could use some maintenance. My only real complaint would be mildewing caulk in the shower.

It was such a beautiful location. Looked a lot better than I anticipated. The beach is on flamingo st about 5-10 minute walk. I loved the area there were so many stores and a supermarket within walking distance. I only stayed 3 days, my room was cleaned while I was away during the day which was nice. They also played some music with good vibes during the day in the pool area.

Unfortunately, our room was 103 right next to the laundry room and ice machine so it was kind of noisy in my room due to the sound of the ice box closing and washer/dryer, the cleaning crew was talking outside the door early in the morning but it wasn’t terrible just a little annoying due to my room location.

The staff, especially Oliver. Very friendly and accommodating. Available with a phone call when the office was closed. I also enjoyed the friendliness of the other guests. And the location was perfect for us.

A/C not very cold. Just enough to cool the room slightly. We were gone during the day and it was okay by evening so not a deal breaker to me.

property is beautiful! love all the foliage. and music plays on grounds speakers so feels fun and festive.

Property needs much better linens and towels. They are very thin and and stained but laundered.
