Everything . Beautiful setting right on the coast with its own beach and pool . But also an abundance of lush greenery to sit and relax in the cool shade . The location was perfect for us to easily go snorkelling in John Pennekamp Park and also to visit the Everglades .

We liked the location of the hotel - but only for one night - and the view of the sunset was amazing! The receptionist was very helpful and informative.

I didn’t like the fact that the only windows in my room looked onto the path to the reception so the shutters had to be kept almost shut making the room dark when the weather was fabulous outside. The lack of bar and restaurant would have annoyed me if I had been staying for more than one night.

They deserve the ratings they have I see it whit my onw eyes that it’s true 100% the place it’s cozy ,,,private ,,clean and beautiful no words ,,,the staff it’s so friendly and welcoming they make my last minute booking whit wifey unforgettable

Lovely gardens and places to hang out and relax outside, friendly staff - hi Zee!

Guava room has an adjoining door and there is no soundproofing so could hear every word of every conversation in the adjoining suite (not sure of name of that one)

The staff was an absolute joy to be around, Zee walked us around the entire resort to show us everything and to explain everything {what a joy she is}. The cleaning staff does an excellent job of keeping everything awesome ! Quite literally we will be staying there everytime we go down if we can!!

Suzanne, Catherine and the whole staff is always so helpful with anything you need . The resort is always so meticulously clean and well taken care of inside and out. My wife and I both love the point out on the water with the tiki, the view is awesome !

The Kona Kai is a hidden gem! The staff is outstanding and attentive even before you arrive to the property. If you need suggestions for great local spots, just ask Di Di or Catherine in office. The property is beautifully manicured and the rooms are very clean. It is located on the bay side which is perfect for kayaking or paddle boarding. The pool and the hot tub are a bonus. The highlight of the day is watching that "big orange ball sinkin in the water". If you are looking for peace and tranquility, you will find it here.

The receptionist who greeted us when we 1st arrived was extraordinarily welcoming. She set the tone for a fantastic Kona Kai experience.

Unfortunately, the weather was not great during our stay. If there is some way you could improve the weather, that would be wonderful.

The resort is in the center for everything you need in Key Largo , but as soon as you enter the property you feel secluded from everything. It was amazing . The staff was very accommodating and probably the friendliest staff I have ever came in contact with in the realm of resort stays. The waterfront area is PERFECT to catch a Keys Sunset . We only stayed one night on our drive through the Keys , but had I known it would have been this great , we would have just stayed the remainder of our trip no matter the drive to each island . We were VERY impressed .

The outdoor seating areas and vistas were well maintained and fabulous. The staff was very warm and welcoming.

The bed in Starfish suite left us with severe back aches. The living room needs a rug. A blanket also would have been nice.
