The staff and the place are a real gem of the island. I would definitely get back - they have been very helpful, responsive and caring any time we had a question or a request. Loved the pool areas, very beautiful and smart setup of the cottages. The location was great, we had a parking spot and overall I am really pleased with the property. Wonderful place you want to return to.

The little downside was the breakfast, the lady serving was not the friendliest and the choice of food was too simplified - looked like there was no proper kitchen facility to prep more "complex" breakfasts (no scrambled eggs, no bacon, no ham etc.).

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Key West accommodation! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the lush greenery surrounding the property, creating a serene and tropical atmosphere that felt like a true escape. The cozy lights that adorned the property at night added a touch of magic to the surroundings. It was a delight to sit outside and enjoy the warm Florida evenings under these beautiful lights. The luxurious and impeccably clean cottages were a dream. The attention to detail in the design and furnishings was evident, and I felt like I was in a paradise retreat. The comfortable beds and well-appointed amenities made my stay even more enjoyable. The location was ideal, just a stone's throw away from Duval Street, making it easy to explore all the vibrant nightlife, shops, and restaurants that Key West has to offer. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect. They were friendly, accommodating, and had excellent recommendations for local activities and dining. In summary, this Key West accommodation exceeded all my expectations. It's a hidden gem surrounded by greenery, bathed in cozy lights, offering luxurious and spotless cottages, perfectly located near Duval Street, and providing top-notch service. I can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise!

The photos don’t quite do this place justice, it is GORGEOUS. Stunning gardens and small secluded pool areas make this place feel very exclusive and peaceful. The staff were also incredibly friendly and couldn’t do more to help us out. The location also couldn’t get any better if you’re looking to explore the marina and Duval Street (though the latter isn’t too close that you can hear all of the noise at night!) I regularly reminisce about this place and would say it’s the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at, I’m gutted that a) we were only able to stay for 2 nights and b) we live in the UK so getting back to Key West isn’t exactly easy!

Parking is very tight (it didn’t help that we had rented a huge SUV) but not something that would stop me returning.

Overall a great experience . The breakfast was really good though they ran out of a few items even though we were early for breakfast and not many people were there at the table. Looked like the management didn't coordinate this well and was an over sight from their part.. Also the set time for breakfast for just 2 hours and it was a job for poor staff to attend to all guests.

The wash basins....they were ridiculously placed in the bedrooms and they were none in the bathroom. This is against the basic principle of washing hands after attending the toilet . wasn't happy with this concept at all. I am not sure how Hospital industry didn't notice this major flaw ? To wash hands after attending the bathroom ( toilet ) is something even a child would know. There is no provision for this.

It’s a serene tropical oasis in an outstanding location. The staff was professional, accommodating and delightful. It was spotless and there was a lot of attention to detail. Breakfast was great and then a nice cocktail hour on Friday and Saturdays and activities. The four pools were clean and refreshing and the areas around them comfortable and relaxing. We have been going to Key West for decades andnhave stayed in more expensive and less expensive places. Simonton court has been my favorite and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend it.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

I loved the grounds. The lush, tropical, feel. Loved our room and the old keywest Carribean luxury feel. The people at the front desk are so welcoming and warm. It was literally right around the block from everything you wanted to go to. My husband and I walked everywhere and came back to the room several times during the day to put down our things or to take a break then we right back out again I'll definitinly stay there again. We loved it.

I didn't really like the lady who was in charge of the food. I observed her talking rudely to afew ppl and maybe it's just her personality but it was severally off putting for my husband. He didn't even want to talk to her but the guy who brings out the food is awesome so pleasant and friendly. It's not a self serve you have to order and then wait.

A true gem hidden in the beautiful Key West. The room was perfect, better than we expected, it was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the ac worked perfectly. The breakfast was delicious and you could choose from a lot of options. The pools were our favorite place to be. Due to an incident we received free parking so everything was perfect. The staff was helpful, special thanks to Rachel and Eric

We booked a deluxe king room but we received a standard king. We asked the receptionist if something happened but she wasn’t sure what happened. She was kind enough and offered us free parking for the night and she also asked us if we want to exchange our room for that night. This was not a big deal cause we loved the room and also we didn’t want to switch the room just for one night. The next day we found out it was a problem with another guest who couldn’t do stairs. They needed a room on a lower floor so they moved us- like I said for us the room was more than perfect so it didn’t bother us!

Exceptional breakfast and location.

We were surprised and a bit disappointed to be temporarily charged for an extra night after checking out less than 20 minutes later than agreed. We were refunded but this doesn’t matter. Coming from Switzerland, where tolerance and understanding are core values, we hope that hotels catering to international guests would show empathy, especially considering the challenges of long travels and hot weather in Florida that can impact morning routines.

Very close to Duval street and the southernmost sunset area. Never needed to take the car out to visit any landmark place. The place was unique with a bunch of cottages for cigar roller factory workers of the yesteryears converted to boutique resort like rooms. Everything was comfortable. Breakfast was really good - you had to choose what you wanted on a checklist - no limits and it would be nicely plated as appropriate and got to your table. Was tastefully decorated for the holidays with a ton of poinsettias - not fake ones but the real deal.

1) In the breakfast area, for the first timers, they need to say that you need to fill in the breakfast checklist. We did not know that and thought it was a sit down service based on what another guest told us and observing waiters bringing in trays for guests. There is a bell at the counter that you could ring for someone's attention but the first timer would not know to ring that, afraid of being impolite. 2) The overall cost was a tad high for what I was used to and the parking cost additional $30 per day. Was not aware that parking was available, but you had to pay. However, the cost aspect would not bother the affluent and would not detract from what they offered and their quirky attention to detail.

Location is perfect. One block away from Duval but in a quiet area. They did a great job with the use of space and truly made it feel like an oasis. Breakfast options were amazing and they deliver to your table (no buffet). All rooms were a good size, especially King rooms and cottages and most came with a private balcony or pool area. 4 pools in total and daily towels supplied every morning. Bike rentals on property. We had a group staying here for our wedding weekend and everyone loved their stay at Simonton Court. It was convenient that the property is not very big so we all got to see each other and made making plans easy. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay again.
