superb location and facilities, great pool and friendly staff.

Staff was awesome! Anything you needed they got it! The pool and bar area is beautiful. Karaoke one night was a great way to meet other travelers. They have bicycles, beach chairs, sunshades. umbrellas for your excursions to the beach. We spent 2 days visiting Bahia Honda State Park!! A must! We spent 5 nights at Skip Jack and next time a week or more. Relaxed resort and if you have a boat...bring it!! Location is ideal. 75 min to Key West and 35 min to Duck Key. The Publix grocery store and main shopping on A1A is 3 min away. Very close to some local resturants but the hotels resturant was great as well! The king suite facing Marina was beautiful. We will be back with more friends and family. Perfect resort for reunions. family vacation or couples. A big thank you to Chris and the whole staff for making out trip memorable. What a gem!!!

One elevator was down for repair. The other one worked just fine.

Very good location: very close to the groceries store and the beach. Staff was very friendly and tries their best to accommodate us.

Being vegans usually means nothing to eat for included breakfast. We had problems with the key for 2 days. BBQ that we were supposed to use was in really bad shape. The fridge was very small and there was nothing to cook on , but the staff was nice enough to bring us a hot plate and 2 pans. Also there is live music almost every evening, which is pretty loud and we could here it even with all windows and door closed.

We enjoyed our stay and the room. The breakfast was good. The ròom provided a small kitchenette, a balcony with table and chairs, a tv in the bedroom as well as in the living room and a full dining room table. We had views out both front and back of our unit. We saw pelicans and manatees. The resort provided a pool with tiki bar and live music on our Saturday night stay.

The price was very expensive for our budget (almost a thousand dollars for 2 nights US) and we expected perfection. We saw some rough areas in some spots, especially in the indoor breakfast area. One elevator did not work and I suspect had not been working for a while. Construction noises were ongoing during the day. Night staff person came to front desk with mouth full - very unprofessional.

great location, close to sombrero beach. rooms were recently renovated and clean and comfortable. loved having a sitting area for hanging out and watching TV. little kitchette was great. For the Brits coming there isn’t a kettle or a hob for tea making but no worries for me as I have a collapsible travel kettle. Staff are super friendly and very accommodating. so nice to have beach towel and chairs and a little backpack cooler to take to the beach. we will definitely stay again

if you have read the other reviews, you know the property is under construction. sure there is work going on, but we were no bothered by it at all. I think all of the jack hammering etc is don’t and we heard no construction noise.

It is in a very good position, the bar staff are very friendly and the pool is lovely, most days we had it to ourselves.On our final day we were lucky enough to see a family of Manatees swim literally 3 feet in front of us.

The whole property is looking a little tired and needs a makeover. I know property is of a premium in the Keys but the price of the room is not worth what we paid. One of the lifts was out of order and had been for 2 weeks according to one member of staff, surely it doesn’t take that long to get repaired. The water pressure in the room was terrible and we didn’t have any hot water in the kitchen area.

Large updated 1 bedroom condo. Balcony had a great view of bay. Bathroom clean and 98% mold free! Pool and bar area very resort feel with plants, hammock and cabana beds. Games available like ping pong and corn hole. Also, available are bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas. Property has several buildings under renovation so it’s great to see money being invested!

Hopefully the fitness room will be renovated soon to remove mildew smell. Continental breakfast needs upgrade for better baked goods and fruit offerings. However, eggs, bacon and pancakes were yummy!

We're sorry to say, the coffee in the rooms was terrible. I would try a different brand. Also, the coffee at breakfast wasn't much better. Maybe the muffins and bagels could be out with the bread. That way we could toast it while the eggs are prepared. These might seem like petty things, but I think it would improve the experience. In the breakfast area, 1.Cups 2. Coffee pot 3. Cream/ sugar stir sticks 4. Garbage, much better flow of traffic. Trays s/b offered to take your things out to the table.

The hotel is in a good location (Marathon, near the main street) and rich in services for free like pool towels, and if you want to go to the beach they provide you with ybeach towels, sun umbrellas and other accessories. By the pool, every night you may enjoy live music. The staff is really nice and supportive.

Overall, the entire structure needs some refreshment, both in the rooms and in the common areas (swimming pool and restaurant). Breakfast is quite limited in variety and is served in a room that is really messy and unclean. The hotel is overpriced for its general conditions.
