We had this one AMAZING housekeeper who just had a beautiful heart. She would always come and check up on me and my children to make sure we had everything we needed. She would just go the extra mile for us, and I hope she knows how immensely grateful we are to have had her during our stay. The gentleman in the main office with the beard was very kind and patient in my personal situation. I couldn't have asked for more. As for the hotel room itself, it's a generic room, nothing fancy. It is outdated with old furniture, but you do have a microwave and a mini-fridge with a freezer in the room. We had 2 queen beds that did its job, and our room was located in the perfect spot for us. We didn't hear traffic noises from our room, and I will say we couldn't hear anyone next or above us. The most sound we heard was someone moving their chair above us from time to time but nothing serious. Location wise, it's at a great spot. You can park your car there or if you want to take the metro rail you'll have to take about a 10-15 min walk, again no big deal. Also, walking distances are restaurants, Starbucks, CVS, and even a technology repair shop! <- Those are all located between the motel and Metro rail stop. There are cameras all over the property for your safety and security.

Doors are not sealed. There was a day when a power washer was used to do some work, and the water shot right through the gap between the door and doorway. (Housekeeping came on their own for the cleanup). There was a night someone must have been smoking Marijuana because the smell entered our room somehow. I was angry about that, considering I have my children in the room. From time to time (not every day, I promise), Palmetto Bugs (dinosaur looking roaches 😱) got into our room. I hate those freaking things. 😒 Needless to say, my kids and I would freak the f*** out! We seriously hate those dinosaurs (that's what we called them)! So we would put a towel to block the gaps, which helped a lot. For sure, the door frames need to be thicker or add seals to the door.

Really nice accommodation, in a great area. The check-in staff member was very helpful and friendly, and gave me a room as per my request - thanks very much for this, I appreciated it very much. It is a short walk from the nearby University Metrorail station, with easy links to Downtown and Miami Airport. There are some good eateries and self-catering shops next to the Metrorail station too. The room was spacious, clean and quiet, and I had a lovely stay there. Thank you very much.

-The young man and the owner in the office going above and beyond to get me into a room as soon as possible because none were ready at the time.(I arrived a bit early) -Cleanliness. Housekeeping cleaned & sanitized everything, left fresh towels, linen, swept and mopped the floors everyday so it smelled fresh everytime you came in the door after a long day. -The price for a few days was cheaper than expected being that it's a pretty upscale area.

Noise of the trains nearby running after 12am. Traffic in the morning and the end of the day.

It is in a safe area and easy to drive to downtown Miami.

Internet and TV. I could not use my internet in this room. However I stayed in another room a few months ago and did have internet.

The room was very roomy, clean, i love the fact that it had tile floors throughout the room and not carpet. The room smelled very cleaned. It had a decent size dorm size fridge, microwave. No one bothered me and I did not hear a lot of noise from the neighbors as you norm do hear from hotels with customers making noise throughout the hallways.

I had a bad connection with the cable. The channels that I were able to view kept stopping or looking for connection. So I didnt get to watch tv much during my stay.

Booked for the night before a cruise. Booking was easy. Check-in was easy. The room was clean and smelled fresh. Staff were friendly. Would definitely stay there again. No problems at all.

I have no complaints at all besides the train going through scared me a few times and the beds were a little hard for my liking.

The staff is friendly, respectful and efficient. If you have a child at the University of Miami, you are less than a mile away. If you want to keep the car parked, the Metro to downtown Miami is right across the street from the University. Calle Ocho? Coconut Grove? Coral Gables? All are within spitting distance.

There isn't anything we didn't like, but people looking for luxe accommodations SHOULD NOT stay here. The inn is very clean and comfortable, but it isn't a 5 star resort. Go in with the correct expectations and you won't be disappointed at the value you get for your money.

The proximity to the art show we were in and the price. It was clean and safe.

Being in a room that was closest to the highway. Traffic noise was prevalent.

I liked that it was good value/pricing for the areas. I like tile floorings, and decor colors.

Tile needs updated some areas.

It is very peaceful and clean. I felt like I was on the retreat. I rested very well. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. They gave me a very nice room, huge with everything inside, microwave, fridge and hairdryer…lots of sunlight too. I liked it very much I extended my stay.

The location is a little far from everything. But I like walking so I walked to Coconut Grove shopping area just 45 min by foot. Good exercise. There is Trader’s Joe nearby so it was nice.
