Loved the staff, the breakfast staff clearly cares about what they are cooking and making and doing. In all my years, and I have been to a lot of hotels in all of my years, I have never seen a cooking staff at hotel care as much as this one did.

The room was a little bit disappointing. It was clean, floor, counters etc. so "maid" service was absolutely great. However, there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, and it appears that the thought is that a big hole in the wall at the top of this wall is the vent to the outside and there is no automated venting system. So i'm guessing that is why there is mold on the ceiling. Paint job to the room was only so, so there were many places where it was clear that somebody did not put down any painter's tape.And there were many little marks all over the place. Many of the tiles in the bathroom need to be regrouted. And the tile job itself was not super professional looking.

Room was nice. Clean. Microwave and refrigerator were nice to have. Room was spacious. Beds were very comfortable- not hard, thank goodness. A mattress that isn't hard as a rock is extremely important to me. The lobby was nice. Breakfast was good with hot items, waffle maker, muffins, bagels, good OJ. The hallway carpet and exterior room doors do need refreshed/repainted pretty badly. They are rough. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door to the room and it was in better shape and smelled better than the hallway. The hallway is a bad representation of the rooms.

Location, atmosphere & they were pet friendly. We had stayed there before with our dogs & we loved the dog park. This time we didn’t bring the dogs but we felt comfortable rebooking bc of our past stay. Staff was very nice & we came in in hopes of seeing snow we are from Florida & a big winter storm was coming. There were a lot of ppl there for the same reason & even though we had a late check in the excitement was palpable. There were many ppl outside at midnight with their kids making snow angels, snowmen & having snowball fights no one said a word even though we were being a little louder than we should have given the time. We woke up early & they offer a free breakfast we were eager to frolic in the snow so we chose to not partake but it was decent looking a cut above a continental plus a nice seating area to eat, drink coffee or read the paper.

The only 2 things I had a problem with was 1) wasn’t able to get signed into wifi & 2) We left early to take the kids sledding down the street but although check out was not until noon & we did not tell anyone we were leaving I took my grandkids back to the room to warm up & use the restroom at 10 am & there was already housekeeping almost finished cleaning the room. That was pretty annoying. Idk what gave them the idea we were gone although luckily we had packed up the car as we had minimal stuff since it was such a short stay.

Wingate by Wyndham Moody AFB, Valdosta was a great value for my quick two-night stay. I asked for a quiet room and I received it. The beds were comfy, and I could tell the room and bathrooms were cleaned well when I arrived. The staff was friendly and front desk was informative. It was an economical stay in a great location, close to many restaurants, shops. Room had fridge and microwave which was useful.

There wasn't anything in particular that I didn't like... the only small thing was that the bathtub had paint chipping. Its an older hotel, but again, everything that I came across including lobby, stairs and my room was clean and no smoke or funny smells. It felt like a safe, comfy, affordable stay for my quick trip to GA.

Great location right off interstate 75. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Did have a slight oder in the room the second time we stayed. They are pet friendly. Breakfast was good. Good variety except for a meat. Had bacon the first time we stayed ,so stayed again on the way back home. Only had sausage ,that my grandson and I do not like. Since we stayed on the weekend, didn't get the included dinner. Did get a discount at Texas Road House which was within walking distance. Also walking distance to other restaurants and some shopping.

Did not have a hair dryer in the rooms. Says there are coffee makers in the rooms but you have to ask for one.

Room was comfortable, bed slept well. Great location. Restaurant with in walking distance. The hot tube was a plus. Breakfast was hot and enjoyable, huge plus (accommodating four people with a wide range of dietary restrictions). Staff were gracious in many ways; provided extra towels when asked and an extras set of sheets (one of my kids-who has special needs-accidentally spilled a drink on the bed). That was greatly appreciated!!!!!! No matter the time of day staff always were always attentive. One of my kids lost the strap to their goggles and Donald was able to retrieve it out-big thank you to Donald 🥰 the pictures below are blurred on purpose - the weather was great

Sliding glass door came was off hinges and was challenging to get in and out of room (pool side room) phone in room did not work ( did let staff know and staff stated that they would let maintenance know)🥰🥰

The staff was very friendly, and the bed was beyond comfortable. I slept very well both nights. I also thought it was so nice that there was PBJ available, along with some fun things to add to the sandwich, after hours in case folks came in late and were hungry. So very thoughtful.

The only problem we had was that there was no blanket for the sofa bed. No one responded when I texted, and the phones weren’t connected. I had to go to the desk to get one, which they did give me quickly. If the phones aren’t being used, toss them. They take up space on the tables.

We had a delightful stay at Wingate, which was quite surprising given the low price we paid. Our room was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Check-in was fast and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the evening hospitality of chips and salsa, and the late evening peanut butter and jelly bar also looked good. The breakfast was above average, with fresh fruit and waffles, and hot food like bacon and biscuits. Although situated right off the highway, the hotel was quiet inside. Would gladly stop again when we are in the area.

We LOVED this hotel! By far the best of the 8 hotels we stayed at on our trip. The staff really went above and beyond to make this an enjoyable stay. Everyone from the check-in clerks to the folks serving happy hour to the room maids were wonderful. The common areas of the hotel were well-kept, and our room was clean, functional, spacious. Did I mention the complimentary happy hour?

Honestly, the only negative for us was the location - it was easy access to/from I-75 going north/south. No problem there, but we were coming in from the east and it was a long drive just to get to the area, get through town and over to the hotel. But the immediate surroundings of the hotel were OK.

Everything about this Hotel was awesome.... From the Free breakfast 6/7-10 to the free happy hour 6-8 and even a kids happy hour 8-10 with snacks and PB&J.... The staff was more than helpful and very nice.... The cleaners were awesome and the best and also very nice and welcoming..... I hope they get paid really good because out of all of our vacations, this one was really top tier... Thank you so much for welcoming my family.... We will definitely be back to Valdosta GA......

The only thing was no coffee pot or Keurig in the room, but in the kitchen area there was coffee already made and you could help yourself..... It really didn't make a difference to me, as long as I had COFFEE, lol.....
