Location was perfect, not even a 5 min walk to the beach. Store next to hotel stays open till midnight for any thing you need. Staff was excellent ! Extremely accommodating to those who need to check in early with their luggage or hold untill plane leaves . Pool was nice , some nights you’ll see somebody on the piano they have or others performing music. Kitchenette was well supplied and all tv and air conditioning systems worked :) Nice patio with outside table and chairs.

Don’t have any complaints really! If your staying a long time and need room service, make sure to ask or they will pass you up :) And maybe the tv was a lil small , but had plenty of channel options :)

it’s in the perfect location near Waikiki beach a short 2 / 3 min walk to the beach. The property is a old 1960,s era building which needs repainting and better insulation as noise can be disturbing at night. we had a one bedroom apartment which was very roomy and the mini kitchen was functional but very dated. compared to the many 5 star hotels nearby where rooms are well over 300 USD this is very reasonable. They had boggie boards to use free of charge and other beach equipment such as chairs which was appreciated. great value for money

needs a repaint and better installation our 1 bedroom apartment had glass Louvres which allowed a lot of noise into the lounge room and bedroom

Location , size of room , kitchen , pool , comfort , reception , housekeeping , view from balcony and people watching , a bit run down but everything worked , electric kettle , microwave and 2 blocks from beach . Reminded me of a Gold Coast hotel I stayed in 40 years ago .

Not so clean , noisy if on main road but an interesting street , no block out curtains and old hotel a bit run down .

Location and facilities were good. Staff was helpful and friendly. Always able to answer questions. Room was good. Walking space around room was tight due to microwave cart placement but easy fix. Compared to other hotels in area amazing value!

Lack of parking. Pay per day was $30/24 hours. Free parking available with almost mile walk one way but acceptable trade for cost savings. Rooms were good for the price. No issues with cleanliness.

Upon arrival the staff were very friendly! They were happy to store our bags until check in without us asking. The aircon was nice and cold, the property was clean and the bed was very comfortable with good sheets and clean quality towels.

I was told that this hotel was one of the first hotels in Waikiki and it is older. The rooms are a little run down, and are definitely not modern but it is a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for. For the price of the hotel I think it is great!

Better than expecation refer to its reviews and ratings. The room is spacious and big enough. Very valuable price compared to other hotels nearby with useful and functional facilities. I booked a room with balcony which has enough sunlight that I enjoy, and kitchen as well. So that I could storage some fruits and food for daily use. Very convenient. The location is pretty good, lots of good restaurants and food trucks nearby. Close to the beach and busy areas. For the public transportation it is also a good choice with only 2 min walk. The water is warm enough and the AC works well, pretty cool inside. Another good thing is that the internet is included and free of charge. Bed is comfortable too.

Housekeeping service is poor. I requested it in advance and no one cleaned my room for 5 nights. One day I just called them for cleaning but still didn't come. And the cleanliness is not good, I can see dusts both in the kitchen, bathroom and some dirts in my pillows. The kitchen smells. In addition, I can hear very loud TV sounds from my neighbor very clearly.

Small, but very functional kitchen. Great Manager! Super clean, clean, clean!!! Beds took up most of the space in the room, and were very comfortable. Location is about 2 or 3 blocks from the beach. I walked to Safeway 1.4 miles away and made simple meals in the small kitchen. Kitchen included bowls, plates, flatware, strainer for spaghetti, coffee maker, filters for coffee! and even sharp knives for steak. Had I cooked a steak I had a broiler pan in the oven as well! Also a can opener. Only thing missing I can think of was toaster. Fridge was bigger than the tiny ones some hotels utilize, and included a freezer with ice cube trays! To me this is the way to experience HI, eat two meals a day inside the hotel room and go out once a day for a more elaborate meal. This place is a diamond in the rough.

Facility is so old they issue an old-fashioned key to open the door. I was there 3 nights. First night the A/C did not work, but manager handled the issue wonderfully. She needs a raise! Pool is nothing to look at.

Amazing location just steps away from Waikiki beaches. Close proximity to other attractions around the island. Very affordable rates, great for young people who want to go to Hawaii without breaking the bank. Private bathroom and shower in room. Our room included a balcony which was relaxing and refreshing to sit on after a long day. Delicious food options nearby, including Korean bbq and poke.

Decor is old fashioned but the whole experience overall was perfect for our budget.

There are 2 lifts into the property. The property is conveniently located near the beach and a large variety of shops. We were permitted to check-in before the usual check-in time, if this is possible.

Not sure if the bedding was changed after every customer. There appeared to be someone else's eyelash on the bedding and we would wake up itching with multiple new bite marks (possibly bed bugs).

The location is amazing! They're right in the heart of Waikiki Beach. We were literally two blocks from the beach. The rooms were very clean and cozy, but had enough space for my son and I to relax and stretch out. Our private balcony was right above the streetso we could see all the action going on outside and we had a clear view down to the beach. The staff was very friendly as well. I definitely recommend this hotel. You can enjoy a Waikiki stay without spending as much for a room as the other hotels. Besides the fridge and microwave, they even had a stove with cookware, plates, bowls and utensils, so you could even prepare your own meals instead of having to eat out all the time.

They don't have their own parking. Parking in that area is TERRIBLE in general. After 5pm, it gets even tougher to find a spot. I usually had to find a spot about a mile away along Ala Wai canal or in the residential area where parking is free and even that took some circling around. It was still way better than paying an arm and a leg to park overnight. That'll eat a nice little chunk out of the travel budget if you're not diligent.
