Everything was perfect, the room was very large and immaculately clean. I requested a high floor which in hindsight was a mistake as it almost felt too high when on the balcony looking down. If we ever visit Honolulu again, we would 100% stay at this hotel but next time ask for a floor lower down. It is right opposite the beach. It had a small (for the size of the hotel) swimming pool but it was never full and you could always get a very comfy sun lounger with cushions on. They also served food and drink around the pool which was lovely. The breakfast was very fresh and the staff were so friendly. There was an ABC store also close to the pool area which had lots of snacks, sandwiches and drinks etc.

Noting, it was all lovely.

nearly everything perfect. we would like give 10 if we didnot meet one male reception. he kept on phone talking over half hours ( looks like probably private family talking, not about work), never caring another guest families and us were queue to waiting his answer for our questions. another family on the front of us had to leave with angry. it made us quite disappointed. but another girl receptions was quite nice. we think Hyatt Regency should not have this kind of careless guy as reception. others about hotel are all perfect.

Great LOCATION! right on the beach close to all the action, shops and restaurants. Room was nice, decent size, amenities and the view was great

The noise was really loud from outside. The workers, landscapers whoever they were start way to early on Waikiki beach so it made it hard to sleep. You could still hear cars/ trucks sirens, blowers etc. even on the 37th floor. The wind was so loud and was whisteling right through the the balcony door. It sounded like there was a storm outside every daY which there wasn't. Need to seal the door a lot better or get better glass doors. The Internet service was rather slow and the TV was not working one night of our stay

Excellent location; comfortable room; great views.

We suggest two features that would improve a stay in the room we were in. (a) install a grip/handle on the wall above the bath/shower in the bathroom. A wall grip would make using the shower more safe and reduce the risk of falling when stepping into or out pf the bath/shower, (b) provide crockery cups and saucers to replace the paper cups provided presently. The use of crockery cups would make drinking tea or coffee a more pleasant experience.

The housekeeping was excellent and we love the location of the hotel and feel it is a good value. It is a very short walk across the street to the beach. I like that things like chairs, umbrella, floatation devices are available to guests on a first come basis.

Beach towels are now only available poolside, which is unfortunate. The hotel could use some updating and upkeep. Our room was clean, but the bathroom door had some water damage that should be repaired. We observed several items in the general area that needed to be maintained (holes in the ceiling, re-painting needed, carpet cleaned/replaced). Also, be advised that rooms that face Kalakaua Ave will be subject to a lot of street noise, but it quiets down after 11pm.

The leaf blower being used at 7 AM along with a crew of tree trimmers using chainsaws and grinding up the branches. Also the singers by the pool especially the girl. All they know is to strum two different chords. Very repetitive. Kathee at check in was rude. you could tell she didn’t want to be there. This person should not be working with hotel guests

I like that it’s close to the beach and dining places. we can walk around. The live band by the pool is really nice. The Monday/Wednesday farmers market at the hotel is nice! we love all the fresh fruits and food from the local farmers. Having easy access to the beach towels and chairs were nice for the beach.make sure you reserve your chairs early.

We reserved an ocean view room and was told that we can’t see the ocean from our room when we checked in so we had to upgrade to ocean front to see the ocean. We were disappointed and we had to join the “club” to be upgraded for a fee. The hotel is a little loud but okay if we close the patio door. We like to hear the ocean so we would kept the patio door open. The activities were only on weekdays. we didn’t get to try any. there should be some for the weekends. And parking fee is $50 for self parking and $60 for valet. we valet and glad we did since the parking is on the 5th floor across the building.

The location was beautiful. I used the spa for myself, daughter and sister and it was remarkable. Loved the blowing of the conch shell and overall ambiance.

Housekeeping failed to get the sand off the restroom from and it remained for four days which lead me to believe they did not clean the restrooms. Also, due to the limited food establishments getting coffee was a challenge but there was coffee in the room. NO microwave

The room was excellent. I faced the main beach. I woke to a beautiful view each morning, watched the sunset during the evening, and at night I fell asleep to the sound of the ocean waves! The concierge was absolutely great. All the tours left from the hotel. The staff was fantastic and very friendly.

No room service due to COVID-19 restrictions, and the pool and hot tub closed too early.

Location was excellent for the beach and places to eat.

Hotel parking is close but is very tight for a minivan. You also need to drive up 5+ floors just to get to self-parking.
