The staff was very friendly and helpful. I like that they let you drop off your things before check in. We were able to grab lunch and drinks when we arrived early. They had free rental items, such as snorkeling gear, surf boards, inflatables, towels, etc. They provided free coffee every morning (and it was actually good). There are food trucks near by with amazing food. It was a 5 minute walk from the beach. The rooftop was chill.

It would get a bit loud when other guests walked by at night, however this wasn’t a problem during quiet hours.

Rooms are clean daily, the location is great and you can even take surfboards and snorkels for free. I highly recommend it.

Electric sockets are insufficient for the number of people in the room.

The room was clean, air conditioned, quiet, kitchen and washing facilities were great and not miles away. Food vans on the street all delicious, WhatsApp group for guests made it super easy to meet people and coordinate tours etc

Very friendly stuff, easy to make new friends, so close to the beach and shops! The room was clean but also depends on how clean the people are that you share a bathroom with… we weren’t very lucky.

The rooms were great, rooftop amazing and excellent people. Juan was our favorite! But everyone was really welcoming at the hostel

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. I stayed in a female dorm. The location is perfect, it's in the Waikiki neighborhood, it means there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby, there are lots of bus stops near. All the employees are very polite, positive and provide useful local advice about Oahu and the best places to visit. I can say that everything is very well organized. There is free coffee in the mornings and the option to rent equipment. I can say that everything is made to make sure travelers are comfortable and enjoy their time in Hawaii ! I met lots of interesting travelers. This hostel is a great place for those travelling individually and those who are looking to meet and chat with other travellers. I have enjoyed every second of my stay at this beautiful hostel, I've visted lots of great places in Oahu by taking a public bus that stops near the hostel and I highly recommend this place ! 10 out 10 !!! Awesome place to stay !

Super Location, fun community, good activities, boogie boards and other equipment on loan, roof terrace to meet people and clean rooms and bathrooms (I stayed in a semi-private room in Beach 2)

The kitchen facilities are very much lacking, all outdoor and it’s not really set up for cooking (saving money). Hard to find even a bowl for cereal at times and easiest to use just for microwave and/or toast. Also, no indoor social space except for benches at reception area. As it was raining heavily during my stay, I stayed in my room more than I would expect in a hostel. Also, there are no personal storage facilities to lock up anything of value so travel light, no wardrobes or other personal storage (with or without lock).

Amazing free coffee next to the reception, nice and very helpful staff at reception, cool activities offered by the hostel, a lovely community vibe between other hostels through the whatsapp group, perfect and strategic location, private ensuite bathroom, very beautiful rooftop to chill and eat in the outdoor kitchen :) thank you everyone!

I needed to make my own bed, there was no soap at all not even to wash hands and no breakfast at all. My daughter Sara from Italy really enjoyed her first couple of days in waikiki but she just expected a bit more from the name boutique maybe. She thought that the boutique hostel was a luxury treat for her but she got deluded from this mini lack of hospitality details.

Getting to meet people from all over the world!! Love other cultures!! Most people are very friendly , of course there are some who are not. That is to be expected but for the most part, very friendly!

Being that you have to share a room, you can’t be sure of who you will be staying with. Not everyone can be trusted. So that is a big risk. It’s a shame that some people just look for opportunities to take advantage of others. I got lucky and was roomed with really cool people!! Lots of fun and great conversations!!

Definitely don’t even think twice ! Book this hostel ! It was for sure the best trip of my life and the fact that I picked this hostel just made everything much better! Where to start? People at the reception 10 out of 10, rooms are great but the most special is the vibe that you will get there! Such a special place. I am honestly writing this review seated by the reception waiting for the Uber to bring me back to the airport and I feel so sad that I need to leave. In case you are still wondering, that’s on you. Don’t blame yourself after if they are fully booked and you don’t manage to book. Just do it . I am a Portuguese girl living in Switzerland for a couple of years and I couldn’t be happier with my stay. Spent almost 2 weeks over, means I can definitely say something about this place ! Thanks for everything Ohana family 🤍 I will miss you guys !!!!
