The room layout is great for a family, a closing door separates the living room, had a sofa bed and roll away in there, very large bathroom and balcony. Good pools and lovely beach. Real bonus water refill everywhere and guest laundry room.

It is a large hotel, so a lot of corridor walking , only seem to be 2 lifts down, could certainly do with a few more. Also undergoing a massive refurb, we were told the reception was being done but hadn’t appreciated that meant jackhammer banging all day. Could still hear by the pool and breakfast was deafening. Would advise checking on this before you book.

The hotel was beautifully designed and the beach was lovely too. The room itself was clean and had a good bathroom. The breakfast was very thorough with many options for different tastes.

The staff at the reception was not having a good attitude toward us and not sure why but she was having a condescending behavior which I certainly didn't appreciate. I never had this experience in any other Fairmont locations and had always been treated respectfully but this time was very disappointing. We didn't let her attitude to put damper on our experience and we still enjoyed the stay but it could definitely impacted that. Unfortunately I don't remember her name but in my receipt I think it is referred as cashier 15.

Very nice and beautiful hotel, friendly staff, amazing and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Nice big balcony. Pretty beach at the hotel, also good for kids (depending on time of day and wind).

Toddler/infant pool is very simple and small. Eating in the hotel restaurants was extremely expensive but I guess that’s no exception on Maui. There was a café at the hotel where you could buy somewhat cheaper breakfast or lunch items, or go elsewhere in the neighbourhood.

Great location, accessible to many parts of the island. The beach was lovely, the pools were nice (not over the top, but just enough), great spa, good restaurants. The rooms were very spacious and I love when you can close the door to the main bedroom and living room area.

I never understand when beach property rooms have carpets in them. Just makes keeping them cleaning that much harder. I think the room could’ve been a bit cleaner (found some stuff on the floor that was stuck to the carpet). Other than that it was great.

We upgraded to a villa with a plunge pool and it was perfect for our family. Gorgeous sunset views and a great beach walk with coffee shops on route. Good breakfast options.

The on-site restaurants don’t offer good vegetarian options.

Was a gorgeous property, perfect for the family. Pillows suck! The price is high for a good pool. The breakfast buffet is NOT worth the money. They do have good bfast Sammy's in a gift shop. Much better.

The adult pool was great and chairs were readily available. Excellent pool service. Fitness center is large and clean. Easy parking. Beautiful views from the room and the main lobby. Front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. Assistance is provided via text messages and is prompt. Our wireless speaker was left in the fitness center and was brought to us by security couple days later after we realized that it was missing!

Prices of food. Overall it was an expensive stay.

The location of the resort, the size of room and the amenities made the Fairmont an ideal place to rest and relax.

I didn't like the fact that the umbrellas at the beach were limited in number and many days were removed "due to wind for safety". I understand that but there has to be some brilliant minds on Maui that can figure out a way for people to enjoy the beach even when the wind picks up in a safe manner. Also, many times had to go to the pool for towels.
