This was an awesome hotel for several reasons. It possesses so much local history, it has been constructed around much of that local history, and it (including other parts of the Union Station complex not connected with the hotel) is relevant to the present day with many amenities nearby. Don't miss taking an opportunity to get a complete tour of the Crowne Plaza property including the original Union Station--the banquet hall is a true jem for Indy! We didn't stay in a Pullman passenger car room, but I will next time. If you are a railroad fan, this location should be on your bucket list top 10!

it was a beautiful hotel. First time there.

The AC!!! when we were in bed, everytime the AC kicked on, it blew right in our faces. we had to put a pillow over our face to keep it from hitting us. It woke us up EVERYTIME it turned on. there was no way to move the direction of the air so we turned it off and so we were HOT all night! Also, there was no fan in the restroom and it became really hot in there when showering

I liked that even though Booking.com lost / deleted my reservations the Hotel manager at the Crowne Plaza helped me and made accommodations for me. I spent about an hour on the phone with Booking just trying to find my reservation. I booked this hotel stay a month in advance. Booking took my credit card payment 2 weeks before the stay, so it was nice to have such a great staff at the hotel to help me.

Booking you could be better. Losing / deleting reservations is unacceptable. It makes travelers not want to use your services.

Location is great and the bar and restaurant are pretty good.

I have stayed here before, 3-4 years ago, and the key card thing sill is a mess. I had to get a new key every day, sometimes twice DESPITE having my card separate from an electronics and my credit cards, in a pocket in my briefcase. Bad system.

The location was excellent, right where we needed to be. The staff was friendly and tried to meet all needs. The valet service was awesome, they were very friendly, gave us good tips on where to go eat and was very convenient. Also, the unique history of his hotel was really cool to learn about, that was an extra plus.

The smoking area was too close to the entrance. I had problems connecting Wi-fi to different devices, I did connect my computer but that was the only one I was able to and sometimes list that signal. If there were some information on the set up for Wi-fi, that would be really helpful.

The hotel itself is really cool. Great location! Within walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium and connected to the convention center.

Room/ bathroom was dirty. Had rolled up plastic wrap under the dresser to keep it from wobbling. Light switch didn’t work. Had to walk across the room in the dark to turn on a light. Sink didn’t have hot water. Parking is an extra $28 a day. I believe it was $45 to valet.

Ambiance, Union Station architecture was neat, adjacent parking was quite convenient, staff were sincere and helpful. Enjoyed close distances to restaurants and to river park.

A/C was noisy- it woke me up in the morning- a squeaking noise through the vents. Also didn't like that the hotel didn't provide housekeeping service. I understand staffing is scarce, but it could at least be acknowledged with a housekeeping discount (e.g. $5 or $10) or a comment on check-in.

Great design (old train station with real railcars used as rooms, great workspaces, beautiful all around. Connected by a walkway to the Convention Centre. Great location.

The train station and railway are still operating and adjoin the building. Every night there were several trains passing through and the whole building shook when they did. Hard to sleep through.

Location excellent. Staff very friendly. Love the unique concept of staying inside a train.

Surprised by the active train noise in the middle of the night, warning would have been nice. Front desk staff gave us the wrong time that breakfast closed- should print the hours right on the voucher so ur customer has something to see & doesn't have to ask.

Staff was wonderful. Great location, walking distance to downtown area attractions.

No parking. Only vallet. Had two vehicles. Had to park in non affiliated parking garage and carry luggage a few blocks. Good thing weather wasn't a factor.
