The breakfast was okay; nothing exceptional, but fresh and decent. I expected the breakfast area to be crowded, but it wasn't - I never had a problem finding a seat. My room faced IUPUI, which was unexpectedly nice, with two broad green lawns. I had read some reviews that said parking was a problem, but when I went there was a brand new parking deck, with plenty of space. It was about 1/2 mile to the convention center, which provided a nice healthy walk morning and evening.

I was there for GenCon, so prices were bumped up. It was very expensive for a Hampton Inn.

Nicely located on the canal which was lovely for taking a stroll. The room was clean and tidy with nice amenities from Neutrogena.Staff was helpful and responsive to requests. Easy walk to the Eiteljorg Museum which was the reason for our visit.

There was an unbacked rug on each side of the bed which was nice on the feet but they slipped the minute they were stepped on. This could be a fall hazard for many. There were no glasses in the room, plastic or glass, but the front desk helped out. Finally, the blanket on the bed was a mattress pad that was no longer useful as a mattress pad?!! Parking was very difficult and overcrowded and very expensive.

The breakfast was good. The hotel staff was friendly and always available to assist the guests. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to a friend or family member.

I wish that i could have stayed longer. However, i was only in town for a wedding.

Location good for marathon race start location.

Was told we could have late check out at 2:30 - 3 at no charge when I called the day before due to the marathon starting so late. Upon arrival, they said the charge was $75 for 11- 1pm & would charge way more to stay past 1pm. Disappointed their call center & front desk are not in sync.

The room was clean and the hotel felt clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The parking rate was high at 32 per night self park. The gate only worked off and on. 50% of the time and for $32 a day it was a pain to have to call the front desk to beet in and out so much.

Room was great. Nice size, clean and great location. Parking was expensive, especially for this area. I didn’t know only Homewood suites had views of the Canal and they had better (hot) breakfast. It’s weird being at the front desk and wasn’t offered the same services as Homewood Suite customers. Maybe check in should be separate.

Everything but the price. We thought since we were staying for hospital tests we would receive a special rate but your associate told us quite kindly, if we had called ahead we would have received the reduced rate. Since I used Bookings.com I would think they would have asked but they didn't. I've learned my lesson.

Our remote control for the TV was broke. Called the front desk and was informed that maintenance would be up. They never showed. Either the front desk dropped the ball or no maintenance on a Saturday night. We had to call the front desk twice. That was the only issue with the room and stay.

Staff was amazing! Very friendly and personable. The facility was clean. The location was perfect for our trip and it was safe and secure. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel right on the canal in a gorgeous old church building. Great job on the renovation.

I was not informed by the front desk when I checked in that there was a $32 per night charge for parking. Discovered that on my bank account the next day. Should have been informed.
