Due to a winter storm, roads were closed, and we were directed to Manhattan, KS for the night. The hotel was almost empty due to the weather, but we couldn't have asked for a better location! We had a 2 queen room and it was perfect! Beds were very comfortable, room and bathroom very clean, and breakfast in the morning was very good (eggs, sausage links, hashbrowns, cereal, waffles, yogurt, coffee, juices, flavored coffee machine, breads, and pastries). With the weather so bad, we had to stay an additional night, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and kind. They let us take items from breakfast back to our rooms and left the drinks for us to use all day. We have never been to Manhattan, KS when driving through Kansas, but we will definitely be back, and this is our place to stay each time we return. It was a great hotel and the staff was fantastic!!

When I contacted the hotel to verify some info, the lady I talked to was very helpful and accommodating. We stayed at the hotel twice at two different times. We requested the same room we stayed in after our first stay and they were able to do that for us. We liked the room. It looked like it was newly renovated. I love the bed. It has the right firmness to my preference 😴. The breakfast was good. They serve hot meals (Scrambled eggs, Sausage, Hash brown, assortment of bread, banana muffins, cereals, juice, coffee). The hotel was conveniently located to where we needed to be in the area.

There was just one instance that disappointed me. The iron in the room has a broken tip. When I used it, it got caught in the shirt I was ironing. I called the desk to ask if they have another iron to replace the one I was using. I was given a 'no' answer. So I suggested if maybe there's a vacant room that he can trade off the iron, and the answer is still 'no.' So, I didn't get any help or resolution with the issue. Maybe I have a different expectation when it comes to customer service.

Stayed in a king suite rather than my normal single room. The elevator button was broken to my floor, so I had to use the stairs which I didn’t necessarily mind besides when I was having to unload and load all my stuff. Kitchen sink Faucett was broken and the toilet wouldn’t flush. Very comfortable and clean though. I stay here every time I come to Manhattan and will continue to do so.

The woman at the front desk on Thursday morning was extremely rude! We went to the breakfast room at 10 minutes until 9AM and there were no eggs, sausage, etc. When we asked about getting some she said, with a lot of attitude, that the breakfast would be over in 10 minutes and she didn't want to provide anything more than what was there. When we insisted she left in a huff and came back in about 10 minutes, slammed the container into the holder, turned and said "There!" and stormed off. One of the rudest displays I've ever seen from hotel staff!

It was a nice hotel. Everything seemed updated and in good repair. The front desk young people were very friendly. They assured us our car packed for extended road trip with skis and snowboard on too would be safe. Told us where to park so we could see it from room. Spotless room and bathroom. Not fancy, but nice. Downtown was a close drive and we liked AJ's Pizzeria.

Only upgrades would be the towels were too thin. Time to replace! Otherwise, no complaints.

Friendly check at front desk. Welcoming and seemed genuinely friendly. We had a small dog with us and, unlike other "pet friendly" motels, this was not an issue and we were assigned a regular room -- not one of the "dog" rooms. Room was fresh and very clean. Hallways were quiet. Good lighted parking areas.

After a long road trip, the breakfasts are all the same, every day, over and over. Any little upgrade or something to make the breakfast nicer would be greatly appreciated.

Comfortable bed. Quiet location next to a park and some restaurants, yet close to K-State and Poyntz Avenue. Excellent customer service - clear communication, Midwestern hospitality. Safe. Cereal & yogurt available 24/7. My mom felt safe and LOVED the bed!

The handicap room didn't have much decor, but that was probably a safety reason. Windows do not open.

The staff was very helpful during our entire stay. Even different shifts of staff were all nice, polite, and helpful. Very customer service oriented.

Maybe a different variety of breakfast options on weekend days. (Something a little different on Saturday mornings than on Sunday mornings. (Biscuits and gravy, potatoes, etc.). But breakfast is a very nice treat to have available for guests. I liked it, but just recommend a variety possibly.

The Tempur-pedic mattresses were exceptional plus the room had a microwave oven and refrigerator in addition to the Keurig coffee maker. The room and the rest of the hotel was clean and quite comfortable. Everything we needed.

The only thing that I saw that might not have been up to standard was that the grout in the tile bathroom floor was missing in places.

We stopped in Manhattan willy-nilly, and this hotel was welcoming and comfortable - no complaints. It was a quick overnight stay. The decorating in the room was nice (esp. the bedspreads). It was clean and quiet and comfortable. We did not use the shower, so don't know about it, but the beds were comfortable and sleep was great.

We needed a place to stay spur of the moment, but thought going to Manhattan sounded like a good idea, not realizing it was 9 miles off the highway. So we didn't really love the extra driving (on a 1,000 mile drive with an infant). Otherwise, there wasn't anything that stood out as a negative.
