The property was so clean and comfortable! Check in was super easy and the gentleman at the front desk was polite, friendly and efficient. This little gem is located in the middle of a very quaint town. We walked to the local watering hole, Buffalo's Bills Bar and grill, and met several locals who were happy to advise us of points of interest. The beer was cold and the atmosphere was warm!

This isn't something that I actually disliked, but others may...this is a small motel with no frills. If you want something fancy this is not your place.

The property is renovated and upgraded. Although a vintage Motel - the original sign promises "Color TV & Direct Dial Phones" - everything is current. The rooms felt spacious. The king bed we had was quite comfortable. There was a microwave and a refrigerator.

I did have to call the property from my cell after arriving on-site to have someone come to the front desk to check-in. Since their is no breakfast option, the front desk didn't open until 11 am - it is not a 24/7 front desk.

Everything worked well and the layout of the room was very well thought out. It was obvious the owner and staff wanted your business. Good size refrigerator and large TV with easy to use remote. Very well maintained inside and out. We would absolutely stay again. We spend 15-20 days each year in Hotel/Motels and this place is certainly on our top five list of best park at the door lodging accommodations we have come across.

FYI...the town of Oakley is a few miles off the beaten path so allow 10 minutes each way to get back on the Interstate.

I don't do Breakfast. it's Covid-times and there is no point. My room was a good size and comfortable and located well for the price. I had a totally bizarre Blair Witch desk and chair in a weird corner and a tiny shower, but I think I just had a weird end room. I was in a room with another couple lady travelers going the other way, and their room was completely different. The TV was SILLY BIG! Weird thing for a comfy, well deco'd small motel.

I can't remember anything bad except the small shower and the blaire witch chair in the weird corner. No problems at all.

Mid century charm with vintage neon Americana sign in perfect condition. Extremely clean inside and out, well maintained, strong wifi, safe and quiet neighborhood. Every time we return, they’ve put more updates into the rooms which is a breath of fresh air in todays world. We truly love and appreciate the history of these old school motels and this one is a real treasure.

The room was new and fresh. Property was clean. It was close to family. So location good.

A little dusty and the bathroom/floors maybe got overlooked? Judging the cleanliness over all I don't feel it was a regular issue. Our deadbolt lock seemed to stick. Location felt safe.

I was surprised at the room upgrades that had been made since my last visit a year ago. I had enjoyed my experience last year and the room felt like an upgrade from last year. I will stay here again without doubt when I travel thru Oakley again.

The hotel is in a nice quiet little town not too far from the freeway. It was a good place to spend the night on our drive across the country. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the room had a refrigerator and microwave. The room was big enough for our bicycle and luggage. We could park right in front of the room making it easy to take our things from the car into the room.

The room and bed was very comfortable. It had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The Wi-Fi was excellent and I was able to stream movies without any delay. It is an old motel, but has been refurbished. Color schemes are ok. The shower water pressure was very strong and had plenty of hot water.

Only negatives I can comment on is the air conditioner was fairly noisy and you could hear the TV or people talking in the next room.

Nice little vintage motel with all the updates and comfortable beds.

Upon arrival, the used set of sheets from the previous guests were actually placed on top of our clean, made bed. I told the owner, but he didn't seem concerned or interested in coming to get them out of our room, so I placed them on the floor under the corner of the bathroom vanity.
