I was concerned about where to stay in Baltimore, so a friend recommended Hilton in Pikesville. It is conveniently located close to the highway, and driving to the different locations around Baltimore was quick and easy. The complimentary breakfast had great options, and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it to others.

Initially my room key card would not work, so I returned to the front desk to fix it. After they confirmed the card issue was fixed I went back to the room only to find out that the issue was not resolved. When I returned to the front desk it took a while to assist me, and only after getting frustrated did the manager quickly come to my aid. In the end she took me upstairs to make sure it worked, placed me in a different room, and even provided a hotel amenity. Once the manager (Mrs. Jay) assisted, the experience was seamless.

The breakfast location, which was the hotel's restaurant, was excellent. The quality of the food was excellent, hot, tasty and a great variety, including fresh squeezed orange juice. The playlist of music was diverse and excellent for breakfast dining! The Reservations and Front Desk staff (Jae, Romaine, etc.) were excellent and attentive at any time of day or night. Any issues were resolved immediately. There were booking issues that were misinterpreted but resolved. Front Desk Manager, Jae was able to re-establish our rooms being close together (they were next door to one another) despite a fully booked hotel and wedding taking place that weekend. Hotel housekeeping, maintenance staff were very friendly, professional and met all of our expectations. The bonus was the free huge, heavenly, hot chocolate chip cookies that were supplied no matter what time of day or night you requested them!

The microwave was not cleaned from the former room occupants who used the microwave for pancakes/waffles, syrup and did not clean up their spill.

We were unable to eat the breakfast due to a water main break, but the server and chef were very nice and tried to accommodate us as best they could. When I asked the manager at the front desk to refund the 2 breakfasts we were unable to eat due to the broken pipe, she didn’t want to refund us because she said it would be difficult and offered to give us credit on my rewards account. It would have been better if she gave us the refund. My family was hungry and we needed to find breakfast elsewhere, so I just accepted the points.

The location worked well for us. The cookies the front desk gave us at check in were very good and a nice touch. Check in was a little frustrating because I made the reservation, but because of my disability, my husband went to check in. The first person he dealt with asked him to get my ID, but when he got back to the desk, a different employee insisted that I go to the desk to complete check in.

The breakfast was good, the staff (as always) friendly, professional and great to interact with. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I feel that this place got pretty run down in the past few years, but they seem to be making improvements to the facilities which is great to see. I think the general rating on this site does not accurately reflect these improvements.

They tried to charge me more than the agreed price from booking.com, but when I showed my confirmation email they said they would refund me the amount overcharged. Hopefully that will happen.(Update, I did receive the refund) Also, it's a nice touch to have self serve coffee available for guests but I found it burnt and bitter tasting, basically undrinkable. I am picky but not crazily picky about coffee. For example, I think McDonald's coffee would be great standard to shoot for. Note to guests who want a better coffee choice: The Target right across the street has a Starbucks that's not too crowded in the early morning.

The location was great and the facilities is in good shape. The room is quite sizeable and spacious. The bed was quite soft and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The gym was very nice and well maintenance. The customer service was good and the receptionist was warm and friendly.

The swimming pool was closed again! 😫 The hotel should invest in an indoor pool and sauna.

When I turned the shower on, the faucet for the tub would leak water too, but it wasn’t a big problem! I wish the pool would be working but now there’s only the gym!

The hotel is comfortable with big rooms’ the shower works well and there’s a fridge & microwave in the room. It’s perfect for a few nights to visit family in the neighborhood!

I didn’t use any of the facilities or restaurant so can’t say anything except for the room! The wifi was very weak so I couldn’t use it

The price of the room was better than area hotels with comparable ratings. The bar was nice and the servers were very friendly.

I didn't like the smell of the room and stained sheets and comforter. Other than that our stay was good. We were there for 2 nights so I wasn't expecting much but overall our stay was good.

From the moment I checked in until the moment I checked out I was very impressed with my stay. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and professional. She even offered me a warm cookie 🍪 as I was off to my room.

The bed was super comfortable. The room was huge, with a good size desk for working. The front desk receptionist was very nice and even gave a cookie at checkin :)

One of the IT staff hotel workers tried opening my door in the morning when I was still in the room. Two quick knocks and barged in without waiting. The hotel manager was very understanding and rectified the situation.
