The pillows were small for a king-size bed, and they were all the same. I prefer a very soft squishy pillow while my husband prefers a very firm pillow. A variety to choose from would have been nice. Neither of us had what we wanted. We were also unhappy with the extremely lightweight blanket that was on the bed. We are used to lightweight quilts, or at least an extra blanket in the closet. We needed to crank the heat to keep warm when we are used to a cooler room for sleeping. I loved the shower stall. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, after I was in the shower, I realized there was no soap in the dispenser. Hopefully, these are things that can easily be rectified.

The sofa bed was not very comfortable, we have stayed at hotels that have very comfortable sofa beds. The pillows were also very small and the bed was not as comfortable as in similar hotels. I also do not think the parking fee should have been charged for the hotel guests.

I had to unexpectedly stay at the hotel for two nights (I live in the area), due to construction work being done on my apartment at the last minute. The price for two nights (I originally booked one night and then needed another, so I was charged for two individual rooms) was fair for the location, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have now installed a mini Starbucks and bar in the lobby where people can sit and eat (plus the Starbucks is open at 6:30AM), and they also have added public computers and cleaned up the lobby so it looks much more professional. They also provided a water cooler with flavored water in the lobby, and it was very helpful that their checkout is noon, when most hotels are earlier. The first night I stayed in a king room, and the second was 2 queens beds. Both had ample space with a large screen TV and a mini fridge for personal food and drinks. The hotel and staff also followed all COVID protocols and had individually wrapped toiletries and plastic cups in the rooms, along with mandatory mask wearing in all public spaces.

On booking.com it says that parking is $25, but the parking overnight was actually $35. This should be adjusted so people know how much the parking is overnight. Also they should show an accurate description of the pool. Although the pool area was safe, clean, and open late, the pool is not full size (I'd say it's about half the size of a standard YMCA pool) and is only 3 feet deep the entire length. Nowhere does it show the size/dimensions of the pool on the hotel website. I enjoyed floating around a bit because it was indoors and heated, but it's pretty cramped if multiple people are in there, and I was hoping to lap swim for a workout.

Lobby starbucks, bar area, large room, reasonable parking fee, clean

It was a lovely hotel, great location for our event. The only issue we had is the bedding. They don't provide a reasonable blanket just a light sheet, super light coverlet. Yes we could turn on heat but for anyone who likes to be under a cover - this is a miss

This was a perfect location for a hotel. It is right next to Coolidge Corner which has a lot of great places to shop and eat, and it is within walking distance to the Longwood Medical Area. If you are interested in doing things that are more located in downtown Boston, the T (Boston Subway) is located only 5 minutes away.

The only thing I thought that was strange was that my hotel room was missing a hairdryer and did not have a do not disturb sign. The bed could have also been a little more comfortable, and it would have been nice if breakfast was included.

the hotel was convenient to get to the place I need to be. the Bistro at the hotel was very good and the service there was excellent. I felt the room was overpriced and had to pay extra for parking. the only room service was done when we were leaving. However, when we called for something it was delivered promptly and the person was very helpful.

the price and the cost of parking. I was there for family medical reasons and it added extra stress.

Breakfast?? There wasn’t a free breakfast I don’t believe so we did not eat breakfast there

They did not replace the coffee that I used the first night do I had no coffee in my room the next morning

I live in the area and was moving to a new apartment. My husband and I stayed at the hotel before we moved to the new location. It was during a heatwave and the room was extremely clean, cool from the AC, centrally located, and served our purpose of lodging overnight. I would definitely recommend it to others who want a central location to the subway, bars, restaurants, etc, without needing to be directly in Boston.

The pool had to be closed and cleaned because a kid threw up in it. But that's not the hotel's fault.

Hotel staff on day and evening were outstanding! Helpful, courteous and knowledgeable

Garage ticket gate/kiosk did not work correctly so we could not exit/enter without staff help and work around. Staff were great!

Quiet location, close to metro/tram stop which makes it easy to get to city center in about 15/20mins. Room was clean and spacious. Friendly and helpful reception staff.

Quite expensive because it was Boston Marathon weekend.
