Breakfast had a good selection. Breakfast area was very clean. Cookies available throughout the day with water at the reception. Lobby welcoming. Location very central part of town. Short walk from hotel to bus stop to take the university shuttles. Staff were friendly. Lazyboy in the room - nice to sit on

Rooms were a little dark - yellow lighting. Bathroom was functional. Not the type where you can soak in the tub. There is no tub, just a shower area with a small sink. Room size adequate - may be a squeeze for 2 big sized people.

The staff was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Well beyond what I am used to. Warm cookies in the evening, fresh fruit, warm drinks and the New York times in the lobby was a nice touch. Room was very comfortable and quiet.

Shower pressure was very low which is only an issue when you have thick hair and are trying to wash out the shampoo! Shower door was a bit awkward. Having refillable shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispensers would be an improvement for environmental impact rather than the little individual bottles.

location is great. it is however over priced! Somethings did not work well the first day. Upon arrival they had already charged my card as prepaid. Took 20 minutes to undo that. It was supposed to be paid after arrival and upon finishing the stay through booking.com. The sink had to be fixed the second day. Otherwise, the room was good and neat.

This was a beautiful old hotel in walking distance from our destination. It was close to the campus and surrounded by lots of food places and lovely little shops. The staff was friendly and the valet made sure our car was ready to go at our very early departure time.

We could hear the conversations from the rooms nearby. The room was too warm no matter how much we tried to cool it down.

The location was perfect. The staff was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Special thanks to the lady in the reception for being very welcoming and helpful as it was my first visit to Ann Arbor and she suggested lovely restaurants around the hotel for me to dine in. The room was clean. Definitely, I will choose this hotel for my next visit.

The price was a little bit high.

This property is extremely conveniently located for easy access to the central campus of the University of Michigan and Ann Arbor restaurants and shops.

While everything was good, the value for money was not great. The room was on the small side and my window looked directly into the windows of parked cars.

FANTASTIC location - right on the UM campus, basically. Very clean, all-around. Lovely staff. Very nice hot breakfast. Quiet.

Room was a bit warm and stuffy even though the thermostat said it was on the coldest setting. We weren't too put off by it, though, as we could open the windows and get some fresh, night air into the room. Access to the elevator is a bit dicey from the lobby, especially if your mobility is impaired.

It is quiet, extremely well located and appears cozy.

I booked a 1 bedroom suite on the lowest floor available. I got that. However it was at the back end, overlooking the alley on 2 sides. The garbage trucks arrived each morning at 4:45, continuing until 5:15. The end of peaceful sleep. Be careful of what you ask for.

Breakfast space was beautiful, and options were good. Location was fantastic for touring U Michigan. Bed/bath were comfortable.

The outside noises were odd -- windows were noisy (as if not sealed) and HVAC unit on roof (or maybe adjoining roof) made noise cycling off/on all night. I think if windows were more soundproof that would help. Our first room (we moved) had a weird step-up to the bathroom, which was very small. Our second room was much better for us.

Brilliant location right in the middle of campus. Walkable to lots of bars and restaurants. Bed was really comfortable and area was quiet at night.

$25 for valet parking in the car park attached to the hotel is just a tad expensive in my opinion.
